'Something smells in Iowa': Calls for an audit of Hillary's 'victory' as chairman of local Democrats who oversaw caucus results is revealed to be Clinton backer

Result of Iowa election which Clinton won cast into doubt by state's leading newspaper, the Des Moines Register Editorial in paper today is headlined bluntly: 'Something smells in the Democratic party' Paper demands audit of all the results, not just the limited information party has released Chairman of Iowa Democrats who is refusing to release details also revealed to be Hillary supporter whose 'license plate is HRC2016'

The results of the Iowa caucus declared a victory for Hillary Clinton by a wafer thin margin must be audited in full, the state's most influential newspaper demanded today.

The Des Moines Register said that 'something smells' about Monday night's results - and said the state's Democratic party must publish all the information available about them.

The party's chairman, Andy McGuire, has refused to publish any more details than those released after the caucuses, which disclosed which candidate had won each precinct, and the percentage of the votes cast for them in that precinct.

Separately today she was disclosed to be a major supporter of Clinton, who was the beneficiary of what the Des Moines Register described as a decision having 'the whiff of impropriety or error'.

Clinton was declared the victor after gaining 49.86% of the vote, with Sanders taking 49.57%. The margin was so close that some results were settled on the toss of a coin.

Clinton claimed victory quickly, before the party declared her the winner. But Sanders has not made any concession and his campaign demanded full voting data be published.

Iowa needs to be given an ultimatum.

Either you abolish the caucus, and institute a straight voting booth vote, or your delegates might as well never show up to a convention.

The type of tricks and games that are pulled on both sides clearly show that this is an obsolete method that is only held onto so that this pathetic state can amass money every four years and feel important.

It is statistically impossible for democraps to win by just a couple of votes time after time.

They manufacture just enough to win, then stop counting

They would have recounted Florida over and over and over if they could have, until they got one where AlGore won. Then they would have stopped

You’d think that after the hit on Iowa’s reputation their governor would call for an audit. Iowa looks like a third world country in this mess and no one who has a smart phone trusts Microsoft.

That stink is coming from “doctor” Andy McGuire and her Buick with the “HRC 2016” license plates.

Nullify Iowa and its results, establish real voting booths, make them vote last.

Primaries are the responsibility of political parties. The Iowa governor is a Republican.

The governor could get the party hacks in a room and tell them to fix this. Iowa is the laughing stock of the country right now. That can't be what they want. And how much business are they going to lose when they do get moved to the back of the pack because of fraud.

You would need to tell these states as well:

To audit a coin flip, they can start by counting how many “heads” sides it has

The state of Iowa does not run the caucuses - the political parties do. That’s why there won’t be a recount, and why people should move on. It was basically a dead heat, and that’s what counts.

IOWA’s shamed themselves... they’re a joke. It’s time for some other State to be first...

The caucus isn’t the problem it’s how it was run, handled, counted etc.

Iowa’s lost the right to be first... they’re corrupt or stupid - and I’m betting on corrupt.
