unless you have seen different polls in SC than I have Trump has had a steady huge lead here since early fall.. and if Trump stomps in NH all I can see is Rubio, Cruz and maybe Bush dividing the other votes

last RCP average from a couple weeks ago had Trump ahead of Cruz by 19 points and Rubio by 24 points

Well, I'd be reassured if I believed polls any longer. If they seemed to have recaptured their mojo after Tues, then I might again get excited over a poll.

Here is the only Pole to get excited about, General Thaddeus Kosciuszko.

Or this pole, pole...

Reading through the comments on a post to provide poll information:

Here’s the Typical Trump supporter poll post or comment: “Trump up by 2, Trump down by two. Things looking good. Rubio gaining a bit. Trump needs to watch out for Rubio. Cruz steady. Surprising that Kasich is doing well. Jeb is toast”.

Typical Cruz supporter comment on said post: “Trump’s a liberal. All the voters in NH are communists. Nobody supports the constitution there. Trump’s for eminent domain! Trump is divorced! Iowa voted for Ted! What is wrong with these people in NH? NH is not part of the U.S.! The polls were wrong in Iowa they are off by 20 puts here!

“I get a chuckle reading Cruz supporter comments. “

I do too! They have cognative dissonance in that they are so blinded by their misplaced passion for Cruz that they can’t see the reality that Cruz is dead man walking. He can’t even beat Boobio in NH.

“According to the head-to-head matchups Cruz consistently does better against Hillary than Trump does, yet the Trump supporters seem to want to ignore THOSE poll numbers.”

The problem Cruz has is that he can’t get the nomination, so he won’t get the chance to see if he can beat Hillary. Kinda like LIttle Yebbie.

That remains to be seen. If Trump isn't careful, Rubio is going sneak up on him in NH. If Trump just barely beats Rubio or winds up in 2nd place, I think his poll numbers crash. His whole campaign is built around the idea that he is a "winner". If he loses the first 2 elections or just barely scrapes by after being 20 points ahead less than a week out, it takes that aspect of his campaign away.

Here’s the RCP Averages for NH:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/nh/new_hampshire_republican_presidential_primary-3350.html

So far, there isn’t much definitive movement. What you see is simply “jitter.” So I guess we will have to see if these numbers hold for the next few days. It would be hard to imagine the kind of slippage that would take the win away from Trump, but Rubio could do some damage to Cruz ( which I hope does NOT happen ). It looks as though Trump has started trying to heal the rift with Cruz. Cruz needs to respond positively. These two men are the ONLY candidates who can really fix what’s wrong with America, and they should not be trying to take each other out at this juncture.

I disagree. All of the polls that have come out in NH since Tuesday save one have shown the same trend - Trump either losing support or static, and Rubio/Cruz gaining. The UMass tracking poll has shown Trump losing 2% support per day for the past 2 days. Trump’s RCP average lead has gone from 21-22% on Tuesday down to 16% today - and that is the AVERAGE. Now that doesn’t mean he will lose NH - I still think that is an unlikely outcome - but I think he will eke out a win in single digits. And after leading by more than 20 points less than a week out, that will hurt him almost as much as a loss.

“last RCP average from a couple weeks ago had Trump ahead of Cruz by 19 points and Rubio by 24 points”

A week ago the polls showed Trump leading little amnesty Rubio by 20 points in NH. Now by Monday, thanks to the media proclaiming Rubio as the “real winner” of Iowa, look for him to be tied with Trump by Monday, leaving just enough doubt about Trump for the “late deciders” to vote for Cruz, then in comes the Microsoft computers to give the “win” to little Marco. The win will be completely bogus because no one overcomes a 20 point deficent in one week. Absolutely impossible.

Don’t you know you’re not supposed to post anything but adoring lies about St. Ted? Shame on you. This poll must be made up by Roger Stone.

I know you Cruzers don’t like the Reuters poll but you ignore it at your own peril http://polling.reuters.com/#!poll/TR130/type/smallest/filters/PARTY_ID_:2/dates/20160101-20160205/collapsed/false/spotlight/1

Trump up his usual 20 + points
