New York billionaire Donald Trump promises "forward motion" on so called gay rights if elected president.
While speaking with Bay Windows publisher Sue O'Connell Friday, Trump spoke about his wishes to unite the country on gay and lesbian issues.
According to a report by Bay Windows:
O'Connell, who is also Bay Windows' Publisher, identified herself as a lesbian in a question that noted the progress the LGBT community has made in the last two decades and asked Trump if voters can expect him to continue that momentum if elected
"When President Trump is in office can we look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians?" O'Connell asked him.
"Well, you can," Trump answered. " And look, again, we're going to bring people together, and that's your thing and other people have their thing. We have to bring all people together and if we don't we're not going to have a country anymore."
Nope, Trump does. Bashing Ted Cruz for not “getting along” with Harry Reid and bashing Scott Walker for not raising taxes in Wisconsin are leftist talking points.
Nope Cruz lies like a common politician.

Wow, that’s a deal breaker
The gay donors were not pushing for Cruz to endorse non-traditional marriage. Most homosexuals just want to be left alone and despise homosexual activists.

No, it’s a big fat nothing-burger. Read the quote without the spin of the anti-Trumpers. It was a clever way to get out of an unclever gotcha question.
“When asked “can we look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians?”, he replies “Well, YOU can”.”
So he replied “Well YOU can” look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians when he’s President.
That might be meaningful if I had any respect for scientology-bot Greta’s opinion. But I don’t trust her.
But is he a “full throated” conservative like Rubio is according to Rush Limbaugh?
Why are you insulting “good salesmen”. A good salesman offers features and benefits that a potential client honestly may need. A “good salesman” does not mislead or try to sell something the client doesn’t need.
Trump is a shyster who will lie about anything to make a sale. Once the “customer” has bought from him, he will tell the customer to FO if there is a problem or was lied to. Trump has done this exact same thing his entire working life.
The gays and the lesbians are going to love Trump. His policies for them will be yuge.

Well I certainly wasn't anti-Trump and I read the quote and it's still a deal breaker. He finally went a bridge too far.
You are absolutely correct. I meant “good” in the sense of skilled—in that he will use every trick in the book to sell you whatever he’s selling, whether you need it or not—not in the sense of morally or ethically “good” I should have been more precise in my language.
It’s NH, when he get’s to SC he will be reversing the USSC gay marriage decision. Someone needs to see what state is last to vote so we can determine his end values : )
Seriously, anyone following Trump now is like unto a dined and drunk woman.
I may be wrong, given the shifts and interpretations all over the place, but in the last debate, I thought Trump also said it’s a state issue.
Isn’t that all we Constitutionalists can ask from a candidate?

When a salesman lies to a customer, the word gets around to other customers and potential clients. A lying salesman will not be around very long.
Cruz is only less conservative on gay rights only if he took money from them. Oh! But wait! He did.
Gay people? People who ARE gay?
“Gay” is not an identity, neither is it gay. Homosexuality is a BEHAVIOR. A behavior that is a choice, that is unhealthy and is Wrong.
People who engage in that chosen behavior need help, need to hear, unequivocally, that it is wrong and to stop.
