Gage Park victims' identities officially released by medical examiner

The Cook County medical examiner's office on Saturday officially released information on the identities of the six people found killed inside a Gage Park home this week.
The six family members were found dead a little after 1 p.m. Thursday when police were called to a home in the 5700 block of South California Avenue because a man who lived there had not shown up for work.
Those killed were identified as Rosaura Martinez, 58, who family members have said went by Rosaura Hernandez; her husband, Noe Martinez Sr., 62; their son Noe Martinez Jr., 38; their daughter Maria Herminia Martinez, 32; and children identifed by family as her two sons, Leonardo Cruz, 13, and Alexis Cruz, 10.
The medical examiner's office had released information on the causes of death Friday but not released the identities officially, saying in a release that "in all homicides, official identification must be done visually by next-of-kin or by scientific means, for example using fingerprint matches."
Martinez Sr. and the children died from "multiple sharp-force injuries," according to the the medical examiner's office release Friday. His wife died from "multiple sharp- and blunt-force injuries," while their son died from "multiple blunt- and multiple sharp-force injuries," according to the office. Their daughter died from "multiple gunshot wounds."

He's only 5 foot 6 inches tall but as head of the Sinaloa cartel, he towers over a Mexican drug empire.

I know the cartels have a network throughout the US.
Yet politicians such as Rubio want to give them amnesty - are eager to have the remain in this country. One can only wonder why.

CHICAGO (WLS) —
A police spokesperson said this does not appear to be a random act of violence resulting from a home invasion or burglary. But what exactly led to this family being targeted is still a mystery.
Police found the bodies of two men, two women and two boys - ages 10 and 13 - during a well-being check Thursday. They were all members of the same family.

I have not heard of this rumor. But there are many others that, false or true, can be spun by the Democrats into major problems.

Police said Wednesday night that three weapons with blades are believed to have been used to kill a family of six in their home nearly a week ago. A police spokesperson said that those weapons have not been recovered.
Earlier Wednesday, a bio-cleaning team scrubbed the home in the city’s Gage Park neighborhood. The father of the two youngest victims is expected to arrive in Chicago Wednesday evening.
The crew from Bio-One Chicago spent most of the day inside the home in the 5700-block of South California Avenue. It’s part of the police department’s effort to turn the house back over to surviving relatives.
“They’re not in a rush, but they want to get in there. Anything that’s of sentimental value, they would like to have,” said Dawn Valenti, Chicago Survivors.
The team brought steamers and chemicals inside through the back door, to avoid disturbing the memorial out front. A steady stream of mourners continued to stop by Wednesday with a candle and a prayer for the victims.
“We don’t want them to see what happened, we want them to remember the family as it was,” said Bill Muir, Bio-One Chicago.
The gruesome job should be done by the time the boys’ father arrives in Chicago from Mexico, where he’s been waiting for a humanitarian visa to allow him to come claim the bodies.
Because four of the victims were Mexican nationals, the Mexican consulate has been providing legal assistance. They also tell us all funeral expenses are being split between the local governments here and in Mexico.
“There is a crime victim compensation fund,” said Consul Marcelino Miranda. “The Illinois government is paying for all the expenses up to the point the remains arrive in Mexico and then after that it’s the local governments.”
Police describe the inside of the home as a “bloody mess” where six members of the Martinez family were killed. Some were beaten and stabbed or shot. The victims were identified as Noe Martinez Sr., 62; Rosaura Martinez, 58; Noe Martinez Jr., 38; Maria Herminia Martinez, 32; Leonardo Cruz, 13; and Alexis Cruz, 10.
Leonardo and Alexis’ father is expected to arrive in Chicago from Mexico on Wednesday.
A funeral service for the victims will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Gall Catholic Church,
