Four people were stabbed on board a party boat during a dinner cruise off of Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon, police reported. The incident happened on board the Cornucopia Majesty at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, in the vicinity of 1st Street and 58th Avenue in Sunset Park. Two of the four victims were listed in serious condition, while two others were stable at local hospitals, according to law enforcement sources.

PARIS -- A man injured three people Saturday in a stabbing attack at the major Gare de Lyon train station in Paris, another nerve-rattling security incident in the Olympic host city before the Summer Games open in six months. Paris police said officers quickly detained the attacker who used a sharp weapon in the assault at around 8 a.m. One of the people injured was in a serious condition; the other two were more lightly hurt. Police had no other immediate details.

The number of stabbings and slashings in the Big Apple is rising — driven by violent incidents in homes, subways and schools, according to NYPD data. There have been 4,493 knifings so far in 2023 as of Sunday, a 6% increase over the 4,237 in the same period of 2022, the data show. At the same time, arrests for cutting crimes have increased nearly 30%, from 2,073 to 2,677, according to cops.

LISBON, Portugal (AP) — A man wielding a large knife killed two Portuguese women and wounded several other people at an Ismaili Muslim center in Lisbon on Tuesday, authorities said. Police said they were investigating the stabbings as a possible terror act. Portuguese authorities described the man as a refugee from Afghanistan who was receiving help from the Ismaili Community. Local Afghan community representatives said the suspect was known to have psychological problems after his wife died while their family was at a refugee camp in Greece.

Fatal stabbings and slashings are up an alarming 37% in the Big Apple this year. The NYPD has logged 96 blade-involved killings so far in 2022, compared with 70 for the same period in 2021, according to department stats obtained by The Post. Stabbings and slashings overall are up 10% in 2022, with 4,344 compared to 3,954 last year, the stats show.

The police officer who jumped into action during a 2016 attack at Crossroads Center in St. Cloud was honored on Thursday.
