George H. W. Bush gave us Souter.

The Democrats never make the “moderate” mistake with their appointments.

I was watching this video when he was talking about the 1986 tax thing. It’s an hour long and I was going to go back and listen again while checking definitions of economic terms. L8R, I guess. I wanted to figure out what influence DT had on future policies after witnessing. It was a pleasure watching him be professional and not acting.

I would disagree in Bush’s case. He let let Ted “the lifeguard” Kennedy write his No Child Left Behind legislation that led to federal education spending increases that exceeded those of Clinton/Gore. I winced when he called him his “friend” and to me it signifies what’s wrong with the Republican establishment in Washington and I believe that Ted Cruz is the only candidate with a proven record of bucking the establishment and standing on conservative principles.

Trump is a lifelong New York liberal. I don’t know how he has been able to easily fool so many conservatives.

Because maybe, just maybe they are not really conservatives. He only has one position I really agree with and I'm not at all sure he is really serious about it. He's malleable you know, I heard it from a great source.

His record of political contributions to RINOs like Charlie Crist, Arlen Specter, and John McCain along with those to detestable Democrats like Harry Reid, Chuch Schumer, and Charles Rangel plus making the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee his largest committee contribution tell me all I need to know about the Donald.

I watched the video and The place went crazy. He got a standing ovation and a roar of support. I think it was pretty funny that The Donald use the well-deserved F-word for the Saudis clowns they are proving to be. I also conveyed the utter stupidity of Washington for allowing the Saudis to get away with their reckless oil racket, among other things. Here is The Donald’s remarks:

“Saudi Arabia said, ‘Ugh, let’s raise the price, let’s cut back production.’ Can you believe it? You’re going to be paying five and six dollars a gallon for gasoline pretty soon. And they want to go in and raise the price of oil because we have nobody in Washington that sits back and said, “You’re not going to raise that f**king price!” You understand?”

Even though the Lame Stream Media hate him, you can know he keeps them entertained—and in business. LOL!

Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=furGXfTJf4o

I have watched the professional politicians up on their high horse like pompous asses about Trump’s salty language. I bet der Hildebeast let’s every expletive in the book fly along with a few lamp stands:

“Where is the G*damn f**king flag! I want the G*damn f**king flag up every morning at f**king sunrise.”—From the book Inside the White House, by Ronald Kessler, p.244—Hillary to staff at the Arkansas Governor’s mansion on Labor Day 1991. And,

“If you want to remain on this detail, get your f**king ass over here and grab those bags!”—From the book The First Partner: Hillary Rodham Clinton, by Joyce Milton p.259—Hillary to a Secret Service Agent who was reluctant to carry her luggage because he wanted to keep his hands free in case of an incident.

Yes, it is f**king funny.

Drugs are an evil and scourge.
There is no rational argument for them being legalized or decriminalized.

Your black and white views are not supported by the facts about either drugs, freedom or morality. It must bug you that we have to actually wait for people you already know are rotten to commit crimes before we can arrest them. It would be such a better world if you could just take out those that need taking out. Freedom is so overrated, isn't it?

“you could just take out those that need taking out”

There are times when you have to stand up for things. There is good and evil in the world.
For example right now there is a heroin epidemic sweeping the country. I know a family who lost a beautiful daughter as a result.
Yes the people selling that stuff should pay the price.

And what about the daughter’s personal responsibility for her own life choices? Or the parents repository for their daughter? Where do you draw the line - and why?

I thought Bush went along with that because it had a voucher provision that Ted snatched out at the last minute?

The heroin epidemic is being caused almost exclusively by government crackdowns on access to prescription opioids. This is standard leftist thinking; government creates a problem, and the solution is always more government.
