Cruz would consider restoring combat ban for women as president
Washington Examiner ^ | 1/31/2016 | Jacqueline Klimas

Cruz promised to take another look at the administration's decision late last year to open all positions to women. The administration's move ignored a request from the Marine Corps to keep some frontline combat positions male-only after some studies showed women were more likely to be injured and perform worse.

"The Marine Corps request [for exceptions] must be reconsidered," Cruz wrote in response to a Center for Military Readiness survey released Sunday. "As long as the requirements are fair and universally applied, the military must always place the best person for the job at hand, whether male or female, but we cannot let political correctness compel the military to lower its standards."

In survey answers, Cruz also said he would not require women to register for the draft and prioritize military readiness over social experimentation in the military.

Wrong. Bush, Rubio and Christie answered and all said women should have to register for selective service. Cruz explicitly said they won’t have to here.

The nation was sane then. The American Culture today is a non-stop flood of rabid misandry. Anyone who doesn’t think that women should run the world is decreed to be an evil misogenist. What utter nonsense. Men have always ruled the world. They rule it now, and they always will. There is no more pathetic narrative than the squeamish wussy portrayed and promoted by our media and political “progressives”. The very idea of American Manhood degenerating to such lows should make us want to vomit. No women in human history were treated as well as American women. None were ever more well respected, cared for, fed, clothed and protected. Go to a Macy’s and see what’s for sale and how much of it is for women. It has been the rejection of the Biblical view of Sexuality that brought about our social evils, and that will be our undoing. Oh, by the way, you will find the Truth that can repair the culture in the words of the Torah.

Israel requires all serve 18 months I believe. I think it would strengthen the family unit because everyone would have “responsibility” to preserve our way of life. Everyone can and should serve in some capacity. Since this would be at about 18 it just might mean less children born out of wedlock as young females would be busy serving and maturing not procreating. As for specific roles, your guy Cruz said it well the best person for the job whether male or female. With no PC push and absolutely NO special accommodations that could be done.

He can find very many retired senior officers and non-commissioned officers to back him up. Of course, the real question about reduced standards and social engineering was never asked.

I don’t think putting any woman in the military ‘strengthens the family’. I certainly wouldn’t want any young lady in my family living in the barracks that I saw females living in.

I want my granddaughters to have as much invested in our nation as any male. BTW barracks can be fixed. Fierce love of America not so much without investment.

I hope that along with dismantling the IRS, EPA, public sector unions, Obamacare, etc, President Cruz will take a hard look at the baked-in misandry of the divorce industry.

Practically all the ills of the western world come from women imposing their chickafication and hypocritical special rights on every policy and law in this hemisphere over the last 50 years. Which I strongly believe coincided with the current outbreak of militant Islam. Yes, Islam has always dictated world domination, but the radical liberalism in the western world has incentivized their brutal agenda to full court press.

Single women raising their children on govt handouts and/or massive matriarchy support payments as opposed to gainful employment; mind bending drugs for their childen instead of fatherly discipline, all sense of modesty, decorum and maturity out the window while at the same time befriending ones children and making them equal, in fact, superior to the parents—demonizing father as an oaf and ogre.

And I say that as a woman.

WRONG. On the key issue, Cruz was no different than anyone else in saying women should serve in combat. Deflect more.

Sounds good. I don’t want to have to register.

Good. To deny the reality that women are biologically inferior to men when it comes to fighting is ludicrous. No women who has been tried for combat had been successful when meeting the requirements. They have only been given passes by stupid military people who are obviously not fit to have power.

Oh really? Give me an example. Let’s try integrating them on to the male golf or tennis team first, see how that works.

Agreed. But Phil Gramm’s sons want to avoid the military, like their father did. Ditto Romney and Sununu children.

Less women pregnant by serving in the military? Are you on drugs? What unit did you serve in where pregnant, unmarried females were not abundant?

Oh, please. They’ll be knocked up by the scores. Not like many people have morals these days. Plus, more sexual assaults will probably happen.

So what makes you think that being the military will change that?
