Service Leaders Pledge not to Relax Combat Requirements for Women

Army and Marine Corps leaders swapped pledges with members of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday not to cave to political pressure and relax ground combat skill requirements so that more women will qualify to serve in infantry, armor, and special forces units. Certainty that such pressure will come, and need to be resisted to protect combat effectiveness, was expressed both by senators and witnesses during the first congressional hearing held to review how Army and Marine Corps plan to open all ground combat jobs to women. No senator on the committee suggested Congress should block the Dec. 3 order from Defense Secretary Ash Carter to open the most brutal jobs in the military to women who meet gender-neutral standards for each skill. Indeed, the clear consensus was that no woman should be denied access to any military job based solely on gender. But many on the committee echoed in some way the caveat for supporting of full gender integration that Gen. Mark A. Milley, Army chief of staff, declared in his opening statement. Gender integration will "sustain or improve the overall readiness [and] capability of the force -- if, and only if, we maintain and enforce rigorous combat-readiness standards, we remain a merits-based, results-oriented organization, and we apply no quotas and no pressure. We cannot compromise combat readiness and effectiveness for any reason whatsoever." "One thing is inviolate," said Navy Secretary Ray Mabus. "Standards can never be lowered for any group or for any job."

Never forget, this insanity of women in combat can not be accomplished without wimpy Republicans caving to Obama's continued destruction of the US Armed Forces. Obama wants, Obama gets. The Commandant of the Marines was the only one who said this proposal was crazy, which was put in place by liberal democrat, Obama-butt-kissing Ash Carter, who of course told the Marine Commandment he could care less what he thought.

“Army and Marine Corps leaders swapped pledges with members of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday not to cave to political pressure and relax ground combat skill requirements so that more women will qualify to serve in infantry, armor, and special forces units.”

Didn’t they already lower the ‘standards’ to accommodate getting women in ? Didn’t the Special Forces do this just to ensure a woman qualified ?

Pssst, Mr. Secretary...take a gander at the military physical fitness requirements...separate scales for men and women.

This is an outright LIE. The military has been fudging the figures on the abilities of the women in non-combat jobs since the 1980’s. For instance, on the PFT (physical fitness test) a 25 year old woman that completes here running test in under so many minutes is rated outstanding; a 45 year old man who does the same is “marginal”. Guess how this is going to be used to involuntarily separate the male from the service?

These generals and admirals are lying through their teeth to put the PC spin on things and protect their careers and retirement perks.

The only generals and admirals remaining are the ones who gleefully bend down to kiss Obama’s behind and thereby save their retirement. Obama saw to that a couple of years ago.

I should clarify. I would not want them to cave if they had not already caved on everything else. I want consistency. So cave.

So once again, all republicans fall in line, and bow down to the great and powerful King Obozo. If all republicans said hell no there will be no women in combat there would be no women in combat. But since 99% of them are either Vietnam era draft-dodgers or others that have have heard a shot fired in anger, they could care less how many women will die, or get captured, decapitated, or brutally raped on national TV. They could care less how many men will die protecting women that should not be put in a combat environment. That’s the main reason I could give a damn about the worthless republican party anymore. They are just as bad as the spineless democrats. Since day one republicans have aided and abedded Obama’s destruction of this country.

In 16 years of service I’ve seen far too many examples otherwise. Standards WILL change and they will be LOWERED.

So I'm at combat town on Camp Pendleton, CA going through infantry training school, and we are doing the obstacle course in helmets, flack jackets and deuce gear. This short Asian kid was struggling to get up the wall, and couldn't do it.

Once of the corporals yelled out, "Private Vang, if God had wanted you over that wall, He would have miracled your a$$ over it."

The whole company erupted in laughter. Good-hearted laughter. But that is going to change.

The mere presents of women in front line areas lowers the combat effectiveness.

The military should not be a social experiment. It is there to kill people and break things. Women in ships and subs has been a disaster for the military. Many episodes of nonsense that occurs when men and women are in close quarters. The same is becoming true for open homosexuals serving in the military. The instances of rape are sky high.

What would one expect from open sexual deviants?

I’ve complained about this here before, but I think its a good illustration of how standards are lowered:

At Fort Benning, the Airborne School has pull up bars outside of the mess halls. Students must do 10 pull-ups before going in to eat. Its not a big deal, and its based on practical reasoning - the first parachute you jumped with was a T10-C, which you steered by grabbing half the risers and doing something akin to a pull-up. Weak arms = no steering. The 10 pull ups wasn’t a big deal, it made sense, on with life.

But there was a peculiar feature to the pull up bars. Right next to them, there was always a bar around 4 feet off the ground.

Was Verne Troyer at Airborne School?

No....it was for the women who couldn’t do a pull-up. Instead they would lie on their back and do a modified pull-up on the 4 ft high bar.

Now, if steering is important for men...isn’t it just as important for women? Anecdotally, I saw a lot more women get hurt when we started jumping.

Ask these zip wads why no women play in the NFL. The stakes are much higher in war.

Way back in the 1979 I remember a female welder in an M88 tank recovery vehicle in the 2/6 Cav. She was a good welder but should have been back in the motor pool. Most tank recoveries do not require a welder but often involve lifting heavy cables, getting leverage on a tanker’s bar, and other strong back and weak mind activities where she was pretty and pretty pathetic.

It is the duty of the next President to cashier them all. Everyone who cooperated with Obama needs to be shown the door.

Our military needs to be imbued with an understanding that they don't stop having a duty to their country just because the Nation elects a f***ing idiot.

Their response to Obama should have been "No Sir! I will not do that. You may have my resignation."

All those who complied with Obama's faggots in the military and his women in combat need to be fired. All Future armed services personnel needs to know that there are some lines that they are not permitted to cross, and it doesn't matter if the President orders it or not.

Fire them all. We don't need their kind in the service.
