These uninvited visitors have taste: I watched a Spanish language family check out in a Northern California Walmart. They paid down their $450 tab with an EBT card first, then turned in 2 SNAP stored value cards. Then, for the remaining balance, which included Markers Mark Bourbon, they paid cash.
Nice - too poor to make ends meet, but affluent enough to drink premium bourbon. What a country!
I’m gettin’ on the gravy train.
If they print it, they will come.
SNAP benefits are stored on the EBT card itself in California and most other states. How could someone have a separate “SNAP stored value card”? Making things up?
