Seems like any VP candidate would need to bring some electorals with him.
That would be a good decision, and it would ROCK the GOPe world greatly!
The point is that Carson would be very qualified and good at any Health related position. Head of the CDC, etc.
If they want to do away with some of those positions and departments...who better to wind it down and hand it off to the states than Carson?

Dr Ben must be placed in a special position outside the bureaucratic wars where he can gather a staff and assimilate all the various Republican Obamacare replacements that are kicking around.
To throw him into the bureaucrat jungle would be a serious error and waste of talent.
There are lots of Republican expert thoughts and ideas that need to be gathered and massaged.
He would be good. I’d be ok with it.
More than that, it explains why he doesn’t want people to know he essentially quite campaigning before the Iowa caucus. He’ there to steal votes from Cruz. If Cruz wins the nomination, it will be nothing short of a miracle and a great win for Americans who care about the constitution. Cruz has everyone against him except the American people.

I’m not a fan of Carson in any role but that in which he has previous proven himself to be proficient. As a potential candidate for president, I could not support him.
