I have no proof of this, but I presume that Clinton knows the popular vote, and she would have leaked the raw vote totals if she had actually won the popular vote.
She can't let the fact out that she lost the popular vote but won a majority of the delegates. Losing a primary by a hair would be acceptable, but winning the delegate count when she lost the popular vote would just confirm everyone's suspicions about Clinton's political machinations, and that would drive even more people to Bernie.
My hope is that Hillary isn't pushed out too early. Biden-Warren would be a harder ticket to beat. Sanders can't win a general election, and Hillary probably wouldn't win.

I bet Warren is banging her head on the awl right now for choosing to stay out. On the other hand, the Party MUST have crossed her hand with gold or the equivalent to keep her from challenging Clinton.
For Sanders it all goes South from now on. I don’t see how he wins against the plantation vote there. Never thought I would be rooting for a socialist, although a hundred years ago, I might have gone for Gene Debs because he also was an honest man.

I’m pretty sure you are right again. When it comes to corruption; nothing is out of bounds for the clinton machine.
I'm also under no illusions that the Republicans are pure as the driven snow. Don't get me started on the GOPe; I am sick of the old bait and switch—promising Constitutional government but then just playing go-along-get-along, letting leftism creep into acceptance, slowly but surely.
Time limits/rules mean nothing to Democrats. Frank Lautenberg comes to mind.
As harrowing as it is seeing the squabbles here, what fun to watch the Democrats pretend that Hillary is doing well.
Those are the totals that made me nervous...
But in the end, Rs won a majority of total votes. Staying tuned.
This is what makes me nervous..only because young, indoctrinated, inexperienced youth voted in huge majorities for 0bama. I have speculated that because that is such a motley field that al gore will also fly in.
