See link for breakdown. Trump dominates everything. Men, women, young, old, graduates, non-graduates, moderates, conservatives, very conservatives. There is not a single category he did not dominate. Trump's huge leads among very conservative and conservative are also very interesting:

For just Conservative: Trump 36% vs Cruz 15%. For Somewhat Conservative: Trump 36% vs. Cruz 9% For Very Conservative: Trump 35% to Cruz 23%

But there are no conservatives in New Hampshire. Didn’t you get the memo? /sarc

I wonder what excuse they’re going to come up with when Trump wins South Carolina.

Hope springs eternal.

If that fails join us. A Great America does have a nice sound to it does it not? Most (90%+) conservative people are smart. When the GOPe foists an idiot on us because it his turn, we (people that understand pissing on their head is not rain) don’t turn out. Guess what, we ignore the media spin, be it Levin, Rush, Fox, ABCNBCCNNMSNBCETC. We see something. Dip your toe in our pool. The water is great, and here, have a mojito. This one is going to be FUN FUN FUN.

Those people are prigs. Insufferable prigs.

Prig: a self-righteously moralistic person who behaves as if superior to others.

Political correctness is part of their credo. Think Kraphammer or Georgie Porgie Will. Insufferable prigs.

Those numbers are no surprise. Blue collar middle class workers, generally lacking college degrees, have been absolutely pounded the last few years. And, they know the influx of illegals, bad trade deals, crony capitalism, and so on, are a big part of the reason. Trump is talking right to them.

They may, like Rush, lack degrees, but that does not mean they are dumb.

WHY did Trump change? He will not say WHY...

On several issues, that's a legit question. I've asked such here on FR myself (mainly when trying to get Cruz-bots to ask useful questions instead of making robotic attacks.) That said, no one (such as in the debates) seems to be seriously asking.

I was very curious about the conservative vote. Informative data. I believe Trump appeals to conservatives because we see low-info patriots getting engaged for the first time since 9-11.

Now guys, you both care about the USA — you both care deeply. We all want to save innocent life as well.

This is a wild rollercoaster primary. We need to be able to unite when this is over.

No need to respond, but please acknowledge to yourselves that almost everyone on this forum is a selfless patriot.

FRegards ....

Usually not by the time they are in their 60s...
Unless of course something BIG happened...

Becoming a Christian for instance...

But, thats not the case here, he’s always been one. In fact, he has said he has never done anything he needs to ask for forgiveness from God for...

Makes ya wonder though, why even need Christ if you don’t need your sins to be forgiven...?

He does not appeal to me AT ALL.

I don’t see how anyone could be so foolish as to want to get behind Trump...?

Wish SOOO much at stake, and we take a chance the guy actually is who he says he is... (even when there is evidence proving otherwise)

Nope, don’t get it at all...

There are times when it is impossible for him to not make an observation that isn't complimentary.

There are also times when it is impossible for him to not make an observation that isn't damning.

Rush was REALLY slamming Bush yesterday.

South Carolina — if Trump wins that state, all other candidates’ donations will dry up. Do-or-die for remaining anti-Trumps in SC. And if he does as well with conservatives SC, he will win there too.

With each passing day, the primary is more about what candidates do and less about our opposition research and/or other ‘impact tactics’ that people attempt here.

I agree S.C. is do or die for everyone but Trump and Jeb. Jeb can hang until Fla but if Trump takes S.C. Trump got it wrapped up unless something huge happening. Trump is leading in Fla too.

That big bloc of not party affiliated is the norm for libertarian New Hampshire and looks like Trump got most of them

It’s how you win the general

Especially if some of the Cruz or seppeku crowd stays home

‘I don’t see how anyone could be so foolish as to want to get behind Trump...?’

I realize that Cruz is an awsome candidate. And even Rubio isn’t all that terrible either [although of the three, Rubio is my least favorite this time around].

But look — Cruz is a scholar. Trump is an executive. Cruz is prosaic. Trump is simply brave. Cruz is smooth. Trump is an amateur campaigner.

Each is great in his own way. But it appears to be panning out that Trump can unite so many low-info patriots that it’s overwhelming. These patriots will soon get more curious about issues, such as the muslim crisis in Europe. Then they become informed patriots [aka ‘conservatives’].

But there are other reasons I support him as well.

An executive — only Ike had more executive experience walking in than Trump. Some might argue that Washington had more xp, but regardless. No governor has more international exectutive experience than Trump.

Trade and Budget — We keep getting rolled on trade and budgeting. We need someone who knows how to haggle with the foreign powers. And we need someone with the guts to walk from the table sometimes.

As for Cruz — the true solutions to our constitutional problems revolve around the Liberty Amendments and amendments that are ratified on their coat tails.

Cruz wouldn’t have done any better in a closed primary. Lascivious pulled a lot of those dim votes

Jeb’s only hope is in SC as well if he even bothers to stay in. He invested a lot in there very subtly as I understand it. The only question — who would Bush ‘the Third’ ciphon votes from? Probably depends on his ads.

BTW ... Trump gave us low key assurances on abortion, Roe v Wade, and judicial appointments. But he tries to not make an issue out of it. And conservative criticism of him probably assists his strategy.

Some low-info patriots are deeply concerned about the border, terrosism, etc but for whatever reason still cling to ‘reproductive rights’. [Talk about the REAL bitter clingers.]

So when they ‘hear’ you or others criticise Trump, that’s actually an assurance to them that he won’t be an ‘extremist zealot’. When irrational fears are soothed without any substantial damage to innocent life, so much the better.
