Trumps going to flat line along the way.....just a matter of timing, and not his.

I honestly don’t know. Cruz won Iowa, but does the trouncing in NH reflect people turned off by Ted’s campaign “accident” re: Carson. That would have had no effect on the IA vote since it happened on the day of the caucuses, but the loss of every demographic in NH might reflect a general loss of support for Ted.

Only a few more days until SC, then we’ll find out I guess.

I give Cruz a bunch of crap here because I REALLY dislike his tactics and the more I see of him the more he seems to operate like a shifty lawyery typical Washington politician. But, if he wins the nomination, I’ll vote for him. I don’t foresee anything happening that will change my position on that.

I wonder who Teddy will blame when he loses SC?

Well, I’ve been a Southern Baptist all my life and I think Cruz is a flaming hypocrite. His mixing of faith and politics is not scriptural - add in the behavior of his PACs and his general campaign and you have something that discredits faith. My opinion.

I f so we can then expect something outrageous to happen surrounding rum, to get the news bites again....that’s how he works it....when his polls drop he needs to get on TV and he’s too cheap to pay for it...easier to create drama.

No. PPP drags the average down. Three out of 4 have Trump right where he should be.

That’s not true....as a nation people we have always been encouraged to vote for Christian men......I see no problem with Cruz wearing his faith on his sleeve in the ties we are in.....those who might find offense to that aren’t going to vote for him anyway under any circumstances....

Further most Americans know this nation is on the skids morally...I think they “need” the assurance that we are still a nation under God as a people.

Are you talking about the “shaming letters”? If so, I get those all the time out here on the west coast...the exact same one, except for different elections. I don’t like them, but have always viewed those mailers as minor nuisance, like so much other junk mail. Except when Ted Cruz’s campaign manager uses them, everybody makes a federal case out of this common practice because it’s Ted Cruz!

As for unlikable, you have to ask yourself how much of that idea has been reinforced by Cruz’s enemies, and how much of that comes from your own reaction to him. I sat down and thought about it, and while he can sometimes annoy me or disappoint, for the most part I think he is an excellent advocate for conservatism, and I would be proud to call him (and his 97%-100% conservative/pro-liberty voting record!) my President.

If you’re talking about the Carson faux outrage story, CNN lied about what and how they reported the story, and those lies have since been exposed by Breitbart and others.

-— Well, I’ve been a Southern Baptist all my life -—

Do you believe that Christians need forgiveness?

How do you feel about a candidate who literally waves a Bible around in an Evangelical state, but makes no mention of religion in a liberal state?

I’d really love to know what world you are living in. I’ll give you credit though. You seem to have absolutely no life short of posting endless articles supporting Cruz and denouncing Trump. Must suck to be so lonely.

Can't wait to see Cruz's plan to win without the votes of the republicans who aren't shiite-conservatives

Don't think I would call them Shiite, but you have a valid point. Kind of hard to win the presidency when you write off the West Coast, South West, Northeast, and Mid America states.

Wow, Ted is gracious in defeat. /s

Interesting. I thought all you Trumpsters liked him because he calls it like he sees it. But Cruz calls it like he sees it, and is accurate in his assessment, and you get all beside yourself. And by the way, how about Trump's graciousness in defeat in Iowa? Hmmmmm?

Please , you have such wisdom on conservatism! I am truly impressed. Please for us all please!! Define conservatism by listing each necessary element very specifically. You can do it in numerical order 1 through 100.Don’t give me this conclusionary BS. I want the exact elements!! I will study carefully — I promise!! Start with illegal aliens and Islamic infiltration to kill us. You are so wise, Pleeeezee!!
