President Obama designated three new national monuments in the California desert Thursday, expanding federal protection to 1.8 million acres of landscapes that have retained their natural beauty despite decades of heavy mining, cattle ranching and off-roading.

THIS POST NAILS IT:

http://whatisagenda21.net/agenda21.htm

You guys are not thinking like communists and are missing the agenda behind this stuff.

They’re not looking for cash. They’re trying to rewild over half of the country and make it off limits to human use. That’s why you hear so much about climate change. Climate change is the tool for setting land aside as no use.

Currently in Seattle, San Fran, and Portland Oregon, they are eliminating single family zoning/homes and moving to stack and pack apartments.
Land ownership is not socially just you see.

Please try to read more about this coming communism.
It is the single largest threat we are facing. It is being the introduction of huge wolves in the west and the BLM land grabs. They plan to destroy hunting, ranching and all sporting use of land.

So even though the views have been maintained with "heavy use", it still must be taken away from We The People. Got it.

That too was about wildlife defeating ranching.
I think Ammon knew it.

They arrested his father recently, did you know? He is 77 and will now die in prison. They win again because now they will finally get his ranch too.

I grew up spending time at a ranch owned by the parents of a friend.
I am so sad to see that ranching will soon be a thing of the past.
The wolves are decimating the remaining ranches in the west.

It’s all agenda 21 and smart growth which is really just communism.

If they retained their beauty after decades of heavy mining and other use, why do they need “protection?”

I wish Obama would designate the land that's used for Burning Man as a National park. It would be the best lesson about government overreach you could ever give a liberal.

Except that this was private land donated for a park.

A park where no Americans will be allowed to enter, now that it is under the control of our government.

Wonder when the Chinese will move in their mining equipment ?

How do they plan to replace the natural fertilizer provided by the cattle?

Well duh, I’m just pointing out what’s been prospected and mined in areas like this.

IMO, Agenda 21 needs to be treated as a clear and present danger to the republic...

I’d rather it happen that way than F&WS finding the Delta Smelt on it and then “protecting” it.

“I like it, make them move and restore it to nature!”

The sooner you move into your 300 sq. ft. hovel the better. Hope you like that too.

What National Monument is closed to visitors?

I plan to, and I would love it, as long as it is all mine without the interference of a all powerful Washington.

They’ll “protect” the land under your house one day, when one of their loyalists decides he wants to live in it.

My wording is perhaps the problem. I was referring to the government labeling land controlled by the BLM as 'national monuments'.

This map is specifically for the OREGON STANDOFF ISSUE.
