An appearance earlier this week by Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz's wife, Heidi, has the liberal media practically losing its collective mind.
Heidi Cruz appeared Tuesday afternoon on The Vince Coakley Radio Program, a weekday show on WYRD-FM "Word 106.3" in Greenville, South Carolina. Although the station is standard conservative talk radio, Coakley is an ordained minister who frequently talks about matters of faith on his show.
His official biography reads: "Vince is a voice for personal, spiritual and political freedom. His listeners often refer to him as 'a breath of fresh air.' Vince's primary passion is God's glory. As a minister of the gospel, he works in partnership with other leaders to help believers live as healthy functioning priests in the body of Christ."
So during Tuesday's interview, the topic turned to the decision-making process that led to Ted Cruz deciding to run. She admitted it was initially a difficult decision for her, but ultimately, she realized that if she were not married to him, she would want him to be running for president of the United States.
"This country is in crisis," she said. "And [Ted Cruz] has an incredible talent that can bring us out of this crisis. We are in a crisis economically, constitutionally, and in terms of our foreign affairs, we are in a crisis."
Heidi Cruz's discussion then turned to her husband's own Christian faith, and his "unparalleled legal career" in defending those values. She said Ted Cruz is "unwavering" and "unflappable" at a time when the country is at a cultural crossroads.
"We can be in this race to show this country the face of the God we serve, this Christian God that we serve is the foundation of our country," she said. "Our country was built on Judeo-Christian values."
At that moment, liberal secularist minds around the country were completely blown. Several liberal media outlets focused on only that short part of the interview to attack not only the Cruzes, but Christians in general.
Mediaite reported "Heidi Cruz Bizarrely Rants About How Ted Will Show America 'The Face of God.'"
Right Wing Watch, another anti-Christian outlet, took it as another opportunity to mock anyone who suggests leaders are anointed by God.
The New Civil Rights Movement, a website dedicated to advancing homosexual rights, used the comments to attack Ted Cruz's "anti-gay" statements on the campaign trail.
But that wasn't all Heidi Cruz had to say about her family's faith. She noted that while the United States is a "nation of freedom of religion," that freedom also comes with responsibility.
"[T]he God of Christianity is a God of freedom, of individual liberty, of choice and of consequence," she said. "And I think that is something this country really needs to be reminded of. Christians are loving people, not judgmental people, but there is right and wrong. We are a country of law and order, and there are consequences for actions, and we must all live peaceably in our own faith under the Constitution. Ted is uniquely able to deliver on that combination of the law and religion."

Those attacks recommend him.
Apparently you didn’t get the memo. Freepers who support Cruz are admonished to go thump their bible elsewhere. /s.
Take a look at this video. Introduction of Rafael Cruz at about 1:02. Rafael Cruz clearly states that he has “shared the message of Dominion” around the world. At 1:34 he talks about God giving you material blessings so that you have the power to establish God’s Kingdom on Earth. This it the Prosperity Gospel on steroids. Rafael Cruz explains it all, very convincingly, so that, if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived.

It is really too bad that all those people complaining do not realize the reference to all of us - made in the image and likeness of God - as her real reference.
The devil hates what he sees in our faces because he sees the likeness of God, which is why he is hellbent on destroying us.
People who understand what she meant are not flummoxed in the least.
How come we never hear Malia Trump do any public speaking? that’s right, Trump can handle a relationship with a mature woman his age, or is it that there are no mature women his age who will put up with his bullshit.
Here is a segment on (NOT) Kelly File last night. Teddy Bare is scorched by the SC GOP guys! They know SC values!

Ted Cruz himself just did an interview where he said he’s not running for pastor-in-chief and the role of President is secular.
So now I have mixed messages and am confused. Is Ted Cruz a secularist liberal too?
Teddy Bares are liars. It comes from their idol!
Melania Trump is a jewelry and watch designer and former model. She is married to American billionaire real estate developer and 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. Born in Slovenia, Knauss-Trump became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2006.
... and yes, I realize I made a typo. Not a gross error! Typing while thinking ahead!
Because Donald Trump is running for President. He is not running for President as a “team” with his wife as Ted and Heidi Cruz are. That last team, Bill and Hillary, really worked out well. Don’t you think?
I don’t criticize people over typos when reading forums.
Heidi Cruz = Goldman Sachs
BTW, I am a Seahawls fan, but probably from a different place. My first years at college were at UNC-W (Wilmington, NC, but affectionately called UNC by the Sea!).
I didn’t realize Malia was running for office? Were is it written that the wife must stump for the husband? frankly, I wish more wives would do the same.
Praise God. God has sent Donald Trump to America in its time of need. The right man for the job.
Go Trump!
Vote Cruz and lose
God sent Saul, too.
Must be some 3rd party candidate.
