Yep, that would end the race right there on the spot.
Problem with that is, it might encourage McConnell to let obimbo appoint, so Cruz would never get to that position. No lost love between McC and Cruz. He would probably rather have bimbo appoint than Ted get a lifetime in SC. Better Trump keeps quiet.
