Eating a large meal puts a huge strain on a body. In fact—the worst thing to do is to eat a large meal, with wine, and go lay down. The stress of digesting on the heart, especially a diseased or congested heart is simply asking for trouble.

The story keeps getting changed.....

When someone keeps changing their story... That’s usually a pretty good indication they are not telling you the truth.

The Doctor first said he had a heart attack, then when they asked how she was able to quickly determine this. Then she said he died of natural causes.

The Doctor never physically examined the body. She guessed it over the phone without even looking at the body.

So, you have the right to declare who should get sliced open and have their head cut open, like baseball cap?

Why is your right to know that a 79 year old man, former smoker, a drinker, and overall fat dude died from natural causes? Why is your curiosity more important than the wishes of the family.

Are you privy to the justices medical records? Why did he have an MRI the week before? What meds was he on? Was he diabetic? Did he have congestive heart failure?

Do you have a right to know any of these things?

Other than the fact that Obama gets to choose, would this much matter anyway?

If the person on the scene says, he is cold, hard, and blue...what would your conclusion be?

The person on scene might be the suspect and is NOT qualified.

You silly conspiracists

Sorry, I just can't bring myself to trust this administration about anything.

If you can - well, good for you.

But not trusting or believing the federal government or Barack Obama or his henchmen/women doesn't necessarily constitute being a conspirasist.

It is probably safe to assume that more often than not evil people just follow their instincts without entering into complex conspiracies.

Remember Benjamin Franklin's observation:

"Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead."

Just curious...

You seem to think he was in great shape? The judge that made the “call” talked to his doctor. Just last week the Justice had an MRI. I never had one of those for no reason. After a relative short discussion with the Doctor, the judge made the call.

Now, put yourself in the judge”’s shoes. What could he have heard after these conversations that would have led him to a natural death conclusion.

I appreciate the concerns...but there is so much you do not know—and have no legal or morale right to know—that the facts stand on their own.

I’ve been around a lot of old people. MOST of them die this way. Except it’s at home. That is the only difference.

He was fat.
He was a smoker.
And he was past average life expectancy for his demographic.

The simple math says he was on borrowed time. Really the third one alone says that. And when you’re on the clock you’re on the clock. Just because he wasn’t having an inability enjoying life doesn’t mean he wasn’t on the final go round. That’s part of the fun with heart attacks, people are cruising through their life and the heart says “game over” and unless you’re very lucky about which doctors you’re how far from the heart wins that argument.

Not all fat people drop dead overnight. But a lot of the people that DO drop dead overnight are fat, smokers, and past life expectancy.

You don’t have to have diminished capacity for the heart to declare “game over”. There’s different types of dying, some involve winding down, some just turn off the lights. I know a few folks who had heart attacks, some lived to tell the tale, some did not, none of them had diminished capacity before hand, some felt a little out of sorts in the days prior (oooh, just like Scalia), that’s generally the only warning (the whole left arm thing is basically a myth, it shows up on maybe 10% of heart attacks, yeah if you’re having it worry... although that looks like a female name so never mind, women pretty much never get the left arm thing). Always remember Jim Fixx, he was doing great, healthy as hell, out jogging when suddenly his heart said “hey Jim remember how you used to be an overweight 2 pack a day smoker with a family history of heart troubles?” and that was it for Jim.

The judge signed off on the certificate. That’s an investigation. You might not like how much investigation, but too bad.

As a side note bro, I noticed your attempt to call in all your fellow conspiracy harpies by posting to “All”. That doesn’t work homie, you need to identify all your bros by name or else no one will get your signal and nobody will swoop to your rescue.........good try tho.

You go into the room. He is cold to the touch. He is a nice shade of light blue. He is as hard as a rock.

Have you been around many dead old people. Even the first time,in was able to figure out he was dead without help from anyone.

Again you are ignoring the fact that there was no physical examination by a professional.

Yes, the judge said “heart attack. The doctor said MI. Do you know the difference?

A heart attack is due to disease of the heart. MI means his heart stopped beating, the usual layman doesn’t understand (or care) about the difference.

Why is it you nuts always glom onto the single statement, usually from the first ten minutes, and hold onto it the same way my dog does when she finds a dead raccoon in the woods?

Use some common sense. You claimed to be “Enlightened.” What is it your are enlightened on? Because this is a pretty simple case.

First I’m not your bro or homie.....

Second, I was only addressing you, and wanted the rest of the Freepers to see what you said.

You believe everything you are told by known on the record certified liars. And then you say anyone that is skeptical of known on the record certified liars is a conspiracy theorist.

Yep.... just like crabs in a bucket. LOL!
