I vote for principles, not people.

Trump’s mind changes with the wind, as we’ve seen from so many politicians. Ted Cruz is not perfect, no living person is, but he is the only one that has stood up for the principles I care about in the face of opposition, even when it loses him supporters and potential allies.

Trump will say something I agree with when he’s in front of an agreeable audience - then when pressed on it in an interview, he walks it back, recants, and prevaricates. This is what I’ve seen in so many politicians that were supposed to be on our side, I’ve lost count.

I won’t vote for another unprincipled amoeba, regardless of what label they wear. If that makes me an enemy to some around here, that’s fine. I’m a Marine combat vet, I’ve been shot at before.

ANOTHER DAY...AND ANOTHER DAY WHERE TRUMP (BLESSED IS HIS NAME) HAS NOT FOLLOWED THROUGH ON HIS EMPTY LAWSUIT THREAT. WHAT AN EMPTY SUIT & BLOW-HARD HE IS!

I respect you and your opinion. After watching this contest closely for months we have arrived at different conclusions. Yes, and I have been in harms way on many occasions myself. That and a couple dollars these days will get us both a cup of coffee to share.

I have been involved in political races before, even made signs and knocked on doors. I have seen what campaigns do to people and it is not always pretty. Personally, it looks like Donald Trump is fairing this one better than Ted Cruz. Ted may have started out with the moral high ground but for whatever reason his team is dragging him down. At this point I find Trump to be more genuine and less two faced than Cruz. Although I was more than a little shocked to hear the Donald saying that GW lied about WMDs. Very bad move! I thought he would lose a few points over that one, but he says is on his mind regardless of the consequences.

This is why I'm a little suspicious of Trump's ''make America Great again!'' slogan.

Astute observation on your part.

It seems as though everything Trump does trails back to making him look good in order to feed his gynormous ego.

He prefers the glitz in his physical life and that rolls over into his mental life in that he has to have everyone cow tow to him.

You get that aspect out of whack by reminding him of his own record and he will attempt to sue the crap out of you.

Now this sounds like the making of a tyrant to me.

But that's just me.

I also call them like I see them, probably the only trait I share with The Thumper.
