CALLER: Hi, Rush. I was a big Trumpster from the get-go. The way he caught my attention was when he started saying "make America great again" and we're going to "win" again. For me that was the keyword, winning, because I was absolutely exhausted and tired of losing seven years. I wanted to win. So I was with Donald Trump from the beginning.
But then also Ted Cruz kind of started getting my attention. And I was thinking and looking at both guys and debating. And then Iowa happened. And what we saw in Iowa was that Ted Cruz took on the ethanol lobby and he said "no subsidies." And he was the only candidate that did that. Donald Trump actually caved there. The ethanol lobby spent a lot of money against Ted Cruz and the governor in Iowa actually said: Please vote for anybody but Cruz. And Cruz held firm and he won.
So when you had that caller before saying, "Well, I'm with Donald Trump because he's a fighter and he fights. And Ted Cruz, I'm not sure that he can fight." I say you really need to look at the things the way they are, not the way you want them to be. Because right now I see Ted Cruz standing firm and strong.
RUSH: You're one of the -- I'm trying to remember how many, it's not very many. You're one of the few committed Trumpsters that I've ever encountered who has decided to leave and go somewhere else, in your case for Cruz. Was it really ethanol that did it for you?
CALLER: Well, there were some things, but definitely it was ethanol.....

The Trump caller not only held his own when Rush tried to turn him ( or at least trip him up), he knocked it out of the park.
The descriptor “Trumpster” gave her away.
Considering that the vast majority of folks here probably don't use E-85 in their vehicles, it should be mentioned that E-85 is now selling approx. $.45 per gallon over the current cost of regular gasoline..........
In other words, it's now more costly to produce E85 than regular........
Ethanol was "kinda" popular when gasoline prices were $3 and above, but not anymore..........

I have supported Trump because of the wall and because I fear muslim invasion a la Europe. As a NYer, I also know that Trump is as tough on crime as Mayor Guiliani was. I lived through the Central Park Jogger case and remember Trump’s support of her (financial and otherwise) and his hatred towards the perps.
My problem with Cruz, aside from a certain Uriah Heep quality I noticed years ago, was that I think he has played dishonestly in this election cycle. Especially against the two candidates who are not professional pols.
I’ve got good news and bad news for you.
Good news:
I have identified the the root cause of TDS. Turns out it is actually the result of having Tourette Syndrome & Rabies at the same time.
The bad news:
There is no cure and it is only going to get worse for you after NC.

I’m just saying, I doubt the call effectively explains the nuance of the argument in a way that keeps people on long enough to keep caring, especially considering the barrage of calls these poor people are getting.
If I got a call that started off “You’ll never guess what John Kasich had to say about Ohio River wastewater runoff subsidies...”, I’d hang up and add the number to my block list.
Yup, I am changing too. Now the question, do I wish to go to the guy who was bamboozled by McConnell on the trade vote....er probably not because anyone that stupid should not be president either. OK, how about the guy with the cowboy boots, er, anyone who needs boots to get through all the BS they put out about the gang of 8, no. Oh, how about the guy who has to resort to calling his mom and infamous brother to shore him up...no. How about the guy who cries about every liberal cause in the world, definitely no. I got it, how about the MD, is he still in the race? They each have some warts so I will go with the guy who has said most of the things I agree with.

The next time you're out and about in your vehicle, check out the current prices for E-85 as compared to regular gasoline........
Trump did cave on ethanol and he uses the 9/11 attacks like a race card. This is exactly what turned me back to Cruz.
Switched to Cruz last week, sent in some money as well - this is spot on.
All I see at my local is regular, premium and diesel. I’ve ever seen corn offered.
