REPORT: Cruz Camp Worried BIG South Carolina Loss an Ominous Sign for Super Tuesday

On the eve of the South Carolina primary Cruz insiders are reportedly privately beginning to fear that a big loss to Donald Trump would signal more defeats in the SEC states. CNN reported:

What if the firewall crumbles?

That’s the worry of a growing number of people close to Ted Cruz’s campaign, who are privately beginning to fear that a big loss in South Carolina to Donald Trump on Saturday could signal more defeats to come in the so-called SEC states that are the lynchpin of Cruz’s strategy.

“If they’re pretty far back from Trump and they can’t get southern conservative evangelicals in South Carolina, I do think they’re probably going to have a hard time elsewhere,” said Erick Erickson, a conservative writer in touch with Cruz’s team. “I sense a real fear from people that if Trump blows everybody out of the water in South Carolina, that he is suddenly unstoppable.”

No kidding. Remember Jeff Roe pulled the same dropping out of race lie a few years ago.

When Cruz partnered with BECK on the border to welcome ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS with Teddy bears, it showed Cruz’s true core and his flawed decision ability.

Cruz is a victim of his own decisions.

“said Erick Erickson”.. the famous idiot.

Cruz’s SC worry is not Trump but Rubio.
Cruz needs to come in a strong second and be the “Trump alternative” in the Mar 1 primaries.

They know they’re going to lose SC. They’re more worried Teddy will Show instead of Place, and that he’ll be seeing the ass-end of Marco Robo all night long. That will have a big impact on Cruz’s fund-raising efforts, hell he’s already beg-spamming me as if the campaign would close it’s doors if he doesn’t come up with $156 yet tonight.

You bet they’re in a panic. But it’s been this way for months. The panic is ticking up to hysteria levels. People are not forgetting the years of deceit and decline.

Someone’s in a panic, all right. ;-)

Whenever I see these polls I think of my recently elected governor (KY, Bevin). Down by five in the polls, and won by ten.

Nice propaganda. I doubt they’d actually come out and say this....

In NH Trump won every demographic, he had double the votes across all levels of conservatives compared to Cruz.

Meg was pulling her hair out tonight as even Lowrey was predicting a Trump win. They even had to pull out the Trump ceiling line.

Pray America wakes.

Funny how Trump’s bashing of Romney for being “mean spirited” to illegals doesn’t count with you though...

Can we have some bumper music in the background here please?

Oh, something like the Eagles’ “Lyin’ Eyes’ would be good.

You can’t hide your lyin’ eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you’d realize
There ain’t no way to hide your lying eyes.

I actually think Cruz is a better man than he’s looked for a couple of weeks.

He must be getting TERRIBLE advice.

I see it as the anti-Cruz propaganda team in full attack mode. When you actually look at each issue individually, there is nothing there.

Sure, when compared to our Lord and Savior, he looks bad, as do we all. When compared to the other candidates, well, not so much.

Don’t tell Ted, but Heidi needs you to spot her a $20. You don’t want to be responsible for the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA, do you?

Except for the bogus NBC/WSJ polls, no poll has shown Cruz above 20%.

Currently, his RCP average of polls is at 18.4.

Even if he gets 20% of the vote, there is a good chance that Trump will be in the low 30’s. And Rubio could nose him out for 2nd spot.

Your personal attack omitted the reality - i.e. Canuck Ted has made a long series of decisions that exposed his inner core of being a typical political whore.

Cruz and BECK - birds of a feather!

Correct me if I am wrong, but Trump continually getting 30 to 35% means he shows up with 30 to 35% of the delegates at the Convention, not enough to win. However I admit I don’t know about the effect of any winner-take-all states.
