I'm a Cruz supporter. I've been watching the funeral services for Justice Scalia. He was a great man. The world was much better off with him in it.

Cruz is merely (at the moment) the leading threat to Trump. If someone else were running #2, he would be getting the two minute hate from Team Trump. This is the way The Donald operates. What is appalling is that so many Trump supporters go in for it so enthusiastically.
If Rubio comes in second and Trump does not win by 10 ore more, Rubio be the big story, not Trump. They’ll say all establishment candidates need to get behind him so he can take out Trump. The same way the little fairy was the “winner” for placing 3rd in Iowa.

I think that’s right. Peer pressure via social media. Neighbors know which caucus you were or weren’t at.
I believe it’s also peer pressure that turns out Iowa evangelicals; Iowa doesn’t actually have a greater proportion of evangelicals, they just turn out in a greater proportion.
Somehow, Rubio came out #1(it’s Fox after all)but Trump came in 2 points behind Rubio for #2 and Jim Gilmore got #3 ahead of Cruz!

No, it's because those who don't bow down and kiss Trumps ring are harassed. No matter what we post about Trumps record, it's the messenger who's the enemy and not the message.
After a while, we just say "Screw it. Trump could shoot someone on 5th avenue and his supporters will still follow him. "
So, the best thing to do with our energy is knock on doors and make phone calls for Cruz instead. It's much more productive than sitting in front of a computer anyway.
