Thanks for your inquiry. It is a reference to 1st Corinthians 13. It’s more of a commentary on boastful philanthropy being called charity. It is not meant as a statement on Christ’s crucifixion or anyone’s salvation. Nothing more to it than that.
Depends on what is being boasted in it. Self, or something else? I gave those examples to suggest fuller thinking about the issue, though if you don’t want to do that, by no means will I force you to.
