A Detroit woman phoned 911 and got a not-so-smooth operator.
Angie Butler said she couldn't get a clueless 911 operator to send a cop to her home while an armed man stood on her porch.
The Michigan mom got a knock on her door at 2:30 a.m. Thursday night by a man with a gun, claiming to be a cop.
"He's out here saying he's the police and he's wearing an orange jumpsuit, like a prison jumpsuit," Butler told local network ClickOn Detroit.
But, the plea for help fell on deaf ears.
"So I call 911 and say, 'I've got a guy out here saying he's a cop at my door with a gun, a big gun,' and she's like, ‘Do you want to make a report?'" Butler said.
"A report?" the stunned woman responded.
'I want someone to come out here.

When seconds count, the cops are only a few days away.
Well, the important thing isn’t that this poor woman felt her life threatened, DIVERSITY and affirmative action are much more important than lives.
This is exactly why the Detroit police chief has told Detroit’s residents to arm themselves. Crimes have taken a dive since he gave that advice. Burglary and robbery has become a more dangerous profession there.

And if the woman had shot and killed the perp she would be charged with murder.

The most excuse and “new requirement” for any nureaucrat to “cover the tailpipes” after a problem = “retraining” and “new procedures” ....
You can’t re-train a mind that has the capacity of mush, the retention of mashed potatoes, and the size of a squirrel’s brain.
“DIVERSITY” will be death of us all because it promotes idiots and fools into positions that they are not qualified for, such as asking life & death questions rather than the positions they are actually qualified for such as “Do you want fries with your order.”
Follow the Vice President’s advice and get a double-barrel shotgun.

That was my thought too. They hire incompetent unqualified people based on race and that's exactly what they get.
Apparently this guy had heard what the police chief said so he brought a gun to ready himself for an armed resident. Unfortunately he wasn’t prepared for the resident who would refuse to answer the door, LOL.

It appears the woman would have been better off calling the local donut shop and asking them to send one of their cop patrons over.

You are correct. And union rules they can’t be fired because it would be discrimination.
