Steve Inskeep talks to Bush fundraiser James Wareham, who is one of those who has to decide whether he is going to put his money behind another candidate.
Steve Inskeep:...who if anyone are you and your colleagues gonna support now?
James Wareham: : For me it's more a process of elimination. There are six candidates left, four are incompetent, and not gonna get support from me or Jeb people... certainly the two folks on the Democrat side, I like to kid, are avowed or defacto socialists...
You have a right wing radical guy in Ted Cruz, who probably isn't even eligible under the constitution...
And then you have Bozo the braggart from New York, who is not my guy or most right thinking people's guy and I don't see any chance at all that Donald Trump serves as president...
So your kinda left with two folks that have solid records and are possibilities for everyone in this situation - John Kasich and Marco Rubio...

The Cheap Labor Express will go all in behind The Memorizer Bunny
The RNC still owes them an amnesty candidate
They will do whatever it takes to prevent us from electing a President who would enforce the laws and borders.
Remember Mississippi
I guess W couldn’t even defend his own Bro from annihilation!-)
“John Kasich and Marco Rubio...”
BWAHAhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
I’m on the fence about Rubio, but it’s gotta hurt being lumped in with Kasich.
The massive war chest was spent.
Even if it wasn’t, why would they want to open it up to another loser?
Mr. Amnesty, Mr. Pathway to Citizenship, Marco Rubio.
Can’t Bush hang onto it until he tries again in 2020?
OMG...the thought...
Sweet.
We can all thank Jeb for obliterating 120 million in GOPe cash and giving donors second thoughts about throwing good money after bad.
You’d think those spendthrifts would be tired of watching their cash burn on an open bonfire.
Cruz and Rubio are crashing and burning. Why throw good money after bad?
There is plenty more money coming without a doubt.
Actually, the war chest is gone. The war chest was spent
James Wareham - totally out on touch with the country inside his triple bubble: an attorney, works in DC, BUYS INFLUENCE by supporting establishment candidates.
I listened an was struck that anyone could miss the Zeitgeist of this age.
Remember Mississippi - exactly right.
Mississippi; and Alaska (Murkowski goes 3rd party write-in vs teaparty primary winner). The GOPe won’t be denied on these.
But getting endorsed by slobbering Dole, now there’s a coup for Marco, eh?
Dole was on Cavuto recently and made an absolute fool of himself. At 96, his reasoning seems to be gone or at least impaired.
I wished they would give him the hook but they let him ramble on long past the point of rational or pertinent thought
With Bush Out Of the Race, A Massive War Chest Is Up For Grabs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
But who wants all that Saudi money? Too many strings attached as well as dimmitude.
Jeb Bush is a Saudi dimmi.
Dole is 92.5, not 96.
Just for the record.
on the piece, they said 96. I thought that was a little off, but didn’t know for sure
