Both Giuliani and Trump are residents of New York. Per the Constitution, the President and Vice President cannot be from the same state. One or the other will have to change their residency, as Cheney did, moving to Wyoming from Texas before becoming the younger Bush’s Vice Presidential pick.

I would think Trump/Terminator but Arnold is not eligible. It would be a very Trumpian think to do though. Two “tough guys” who aren’t nearly as conservative as they posture themselves to be.

Rubio brings nothing to the job or the general election campaign. He’s nakedly ambitious. Not a good choice. The usual VP pick is a faithful party foot soldier.

Like it or not, Trump is almost certain to be the nominee

Barring any surprises, I tend to agree. And while Trump may not be a "perfect" conservative candidate, he might be what the Republican Party needs.

He won't be a huge cheerleader for evangelical causes, but he won't openly mock Christians in the way Obama has. He also won't call himself a "Christian" in one breath, and then do everything he can to support Islam.

He will be pro-business, though this may come with some "deal-making." Overall, I would think his positives will overcome his negatives.

He will be pro-police and pro-military.

With any luck he will--as a successful businessman--surround himself with good people, and he'll trust their input into his administration.

Most importantly, he will be FOR the United States, unlike the traitor we've had over the past 7 years.

I really find it hard to believe after the issue that Trump made about Cruz’ eligibility, he would accept Rubio as a running mate. After all, at least Cruz, through his mother, was born an American citizen.

I really don't think he'll pick Rubio. He needs someone with more experience, not a first-term Senator who skipped showing up for work a bunch...

And is vacating the seat after one term.

Personally, I don't think Rubio adds anything to the ticket that Trump doesn't already have.

Trump isn’t a traditional politician, he’s a business person. Business people often appreciate “nakedly ambitious.”

Rubio is from the South aka Florida (though some say it is now separate from the old South). He is Hispanic. He can give Trump protection from the racist against immigrants and hispanics charge. he may also protect Trump from the birther stuff (I support Trump but I hate the birther stuff) because trump questioned Rubio as an anchor baby.

So that is why it makes analytical sense for Trump to pick Rubio. I don't think he will though.

I think Huckabee would make a good VP.

Two words: Maurice Clemmons.

I think Donny should put together a “Who Wants to Be a Vice-President?” reality show and let celebrities compete. Ratings blockbuster.

I have thought that a Trump/Sessions ticket could be a possibility but I think a Trump/Kasich would be a good match as well:

Kasich is a two-term governor of Ohio, a critical state, giving him executive experience as well as a former Congressman who worked on the House Armed Services and Budget committee.

Ohio is a must-win state and a combination of an Ohio governor plus Trump’s campaign to revitalize American jobs and manufacturing could resonate in Ohio and neighboring states (Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana).

I don’t think Trump will have much of a problem locking up Southern States and Florida but this could make him very Competitive in the Rust Belt. Trump by himself could put New York in play or at least force Hillary to defend strongholds that under any other candidate she could ignore.

Kasich, with his recent defunding of Planned Parenthood in Ohio could also help with social conservatives.

He does have some GOPe characteristics though so he isn’t completely an outsider, but it could wind up creating a unity ticket.
