WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEBATE? Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and businessman Donald Trump.
WHO IS MODERATING THE DEBATE? Wolf Blitzer of CNN will moderate the debate. Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arrarás, conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt and CNN's Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash will also ask questions of the candidates.
HOW DID THE QUALIFY FOR THE DEBATE? Candidates needed to file a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, be actively campaigning for the Republican nomination and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have received support from at least 5 percent of those who attended the Republican Iowa caucuses.
- Have received at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the New Hampshire primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the South Carolina primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent support in the Nevada caucuses.

I was wondering the same thing... not to mention that it is against regs to show any political leanings while ‘on duty’ (you noticed the same as me.. the poster barely gets 8 hours sleep before posting again.. which means, if still active, he/she/it is neglecting his/her duties..) or ‘in uniform’, albeit, there is no REAL name for that particular poster.. but, you know what I mean.. not to mention that NO officer that I have ever served with or under seems as uneducated (some were lacking common sense though) as this one does.

I understand, my wife's sister joined the army. She was gung-ho until they finally got serious about her passing her physical requirements that involved hiking with a backpack load "X" many miles in a "Y" time. She kept getting extensions on having to perform it and couldn't pass it, but suddenly she got pregnant and got somewhat honorable out. Though she doesn't brag about her army days now (she lost the baby or something). I don't ask to be honest. Sad chapter behind her and everything. You understand.
I don't know if it was before both of your times, but there used to be a poster at FR called "ClassyGreenEyed" or "ClassyGreenEyedBlond". She was a long time poster on FR with some amazing photos of such a pretty lady. She was later found out to be a guy posing as a woman on FR and suddenly disappeared.

Yep, broke some hearts of a few of the younger Freepers (and a couple of us older one's too). ClassyGreenEyedBlond made an appearance for a while on the anti-Freeper site Libertypost.org and probable morphed into some other character on FR or elsewhere.
The problem is that some of the tax code is so arcane that 10 different accountants would likely come up with 10 different return totals, for a return much(!) less complex than Trump’s. So might 10 different IRS agents, for that matter.
On one question alone, some years back, I got 3 different answers from the IRS — I finally went with the interpretation a “supervisor” 2 levels up (from my 1st call) gave me, and even then I wasn’t sure she was correct.
I’m glad, sometimes, that I’m much too small a target to be much of a target!
Tempted to poke BFAC just to get another Bible verse out of her. LoL... must resist the urge.
Reminds me a a program that came out with the original Creative Labs SoundBlaster back in the 80(s) .. Dr. something or other.. you could have a ‘chat’ with it and it would respond.. but the responses usually made no sense ;^~
Not to butt in ... but I would say to you; let your son participate in the process regardless of your preference of candidate. He will learn from being involved and be a better man, and future voter for it regardless of the outcome. Just my $0.02.

I notice that quite a few Cruz supporters say they will not vote for Trump if Trump wins the nomination, but I’ve seen very few Trump supporters say they will sit out if Cruz gets the nod.
