Ok we’ll check the polls next week this time and see how Cruz’ strategy of attacking Trump went over versus my supposition that he should be using his intellect to inspire instead of getting in the gutter. Cruz has an advantage in intellect but he is not showing it tonight.

All the polls say Cruz will lose, with the exception of Texas, which will be close. But the debate last night is not the reason Cruz will lose all states, but one. Cruz was behind before the debate.

Cruz has been campaigning for a year. If his campaigning for a year in a high minded manner has not yielded success, another 120 minutes of high mindedness with exquisite manners will not yield victory, either.
