Ted Cruz said late Thursday that rival Marco Rubio would make a better president than Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
"Marco is not my enemy, Marco and I are friends. Marco and I would both make a much better candidate and a much better president than would Donald," Cruz told CNN's Jake Tapper after Thursday's Republican debate.
"I like Donald personally. He's a charming guy, although he can turn on you in an instant," Cruz continued.
Who was that screeching women. She was frigging annoying . Obviously a plant for Rubio, but Rubio is a fake on about everything anyway,
he handled it very well .
You know and I know that Cruz’s point is not how good Rubio is it is how bad Trump is. And he is bad. You will rue the day if Trump is elected.
That Cruz says he’d support Rubio over Trump (and that Rush spent a couple of weeks this month plumping Rubio as a “conservativeâ€) says a lot about Rubio and Rush.
And this is also saying Cruz supports Rubio’s positions on amnesty and Obamatrade which a Rubio POTUS guarantees. Let the Cruzers twist themselves into pretzels now defending the undefendable. Sad. I expect better from freepers than supporting amnesty and Obamatrade.
This is getting real interesting. Cruz knowing Marco should drop out first (no primary wins and Trumped in Florida) is pining for Marco’s voters and donors. Smart move on Ted’s part.

The clear reality is that Donald is a great Donald. But he is lacking in the servant-of-the-people skills and certainly lacking in being able to uphold the oath of office, which is to uphold the Constitution.

Dropped cable, didn’t see debate but DT looked unhappy and non-plussed at the end of it. Guess Ted and Marco combining never occured to him...now we know why DT never hit Rubio, he dreaded Cruz and him teaming up against him.
If Cruz believes that, he should drop out and throw his support to Rubio.

Both Rubio and Cruz have horrible attendance records in the Senate. They're both short on ethics.

Cuz his father didn't became a Citizen until 2005...and everything would have come out then.
I don't think he's eligible. When's the last time a President gave up his citizenship to his native country.
