Seems Beck/The Blaze & Jebstate/Erickson/LizMair want to co opt the other supporters.
I didn’t watch it, but have listened to enough to reinforce why I am not supporting any of them. What a mess.
it is about the 4:56 mark. It's really kind of surreal since America has spent the last six months listening to cruz scorch rubio, the gang of 8 bill, and the washington cartel. Looks like Ted let the mask slip a bit tonight.

Youve got to be kidding, Rubio is the GOPe, pro-amnesty sellout.
Perhaps people will now wake up to the fact that Cruz is just as much establishment as Rubio. Perhaps his supporters will realize that he and Rubio are working together to bring about a brokered convention.
Maybe they will see that the RNC is working hand in glove with the big money, North American Union, amnesty guys to destroy this country. Its a sad day when two people who aren’t even eligible to be President are allowed this platform.
And maybe tomorrow donkeys fly.

It is more than a little uncomfortable that they're teaming up to defeat the only for-sure NBC in contention.
Hopefully they're both toast now that it's known they're in it together.
Cruz has tarnished his brand name. Prior to the 2/25 debate it was mostly his supporters and campaign workers that were weighing him down, turning voters away from the candidate but after the debate the source of the vitriol of the Cruz campaign became evident. It’s Cruz himself.
Like the Don said, he can debate but he can’t talk, he can’t connect with the voters he needed to win with. Over proselytizing, presenting himself as the Washington outsider working from within, shadow stalking Trump in the early campaign then jettisoning that strategy just to gain a Pyrrhic victory in Iowa.
Iowa oh Iowa. How many presidential contenders have squandered their resources and good will to win Iowa — a caucus state you don’t necessarily have to win, but just place well.
Cruz has set his conservative constituents back. Way back and he’s made them small. Way small. They will soon see their mistake of trying to pull the GOP tent poll too far right as they become marginalization in the general election.
The center of the GOP has shifted and a few far right RINOs find themselves outside the Tent, thanks to Cruz, but mainly Cruz’s supporters and campaign strategists.
Trump’s nationalism is his appeal.

Trump can deal with and has for most of his life with nastier, smarter and more numbers negotiating than those two.
Trump is running for the Presidency as if he was selling toothpaste.
Look at toothpaste ads on TV. 10 years ago, it was all about Tooth Decay. 10 years before that, it was all about Fresh Breath. Nowadays it is all about Whitening, to the point where you see people on the street with teeth so white they glow.
Toothpaste companies did not decide to emphasize whitening. Toothpaste companies just listened to the customers, and when whitening products started to sell, they introduced new lines and made whitening the core of their business. A whole new player, Rembrandt, jumped into the market, and now everybody sells a whitening product.
Think about that. A new toothpaste brand with major market share. You know how hard it is to do that? Every consumer in the country goes to the store each week and buys what they bought last week, and now there is a new toothpaste brand. Most marketing people would call that so unlikely to be almost impossible.
To bring this back around to Donald Trump...
Donald Trump is selling himself as if he were a tube of toothpaste. To do that, he said a lot of things, and then listened to what people liked. He starts out with five things... balance the budget, kill ISIS, build the wall, eliminate NAFTA and traditional marriage... and as he is talking, he listens to how people react. He got huge reactions to “kill ISIS” and “build the wall”, so he made these things the center of his campaign. And now the entire market is about building the wall and killing ISIS. He managed to launch a new brand of toothpaste, and it’s amazing.
This is America. In America, the innovator is rewarded. Donald Trump has revolutionized the process of running for President.
What that has to do with actually being President is anybody’s guess. It’s like when your perfectly white teeth fall out of your head because of tooth decay that your new toothpaste did nothing to prevent, and the toothpaste company points out that those teeth in your hand sure are bright and white... What good is that going to do you?

As I posted on a previous thread, my housekeeper here in my hotel in Abu Dhabi is a 20 something hard working guy from Nepal that is also a bit of a political wonk. Today he said that he thinks Trump and his supporters will be “happy” with next Tuesday’s results. Depending on the results maybe Fox should hire him. :)
I’ve figured out what the other part of what Cruz off-the-cuff said that disturbs me. It’s racist. He elevated Rubio above Dr. Carson, the candidate whose votes his staff stole.
Plan B - Cruz wants to be Rubio's BFF.
