I have several problems with Senator Cruz.
1. Ever since he arrived on the scene he's been a one man stunt show, pulling stunts left and right to no reward. He's accomplished absolutely nothing with these stunts except getting his name and face on the news.
2. He presents himself as a conservative messiah but is deep in the pay dirt with Goldman Sachs, and has been less than honest about his finances.
3. His wife.
4. The "Messianic" message his campaign has been trumpeting. I have news for you...no matter what his loony father says Ted is NOT the Second Coming.
5. Glen Beck
6. His propensity to lie. He's consistently lied about his opponents, about their plans to remain in the campaign, what they think of the bible, their specific policy proposals. All in all Cruz has proved himself to be less than honorable.
.. our distrust of and animosity for each others candidate is something that cannot be fixed by appealing to reason at this stage—that has left the building I’m afraid...
Don’t give them any ideas. I’m sure they would be okay with this. After all, some of them are trying to get anyone who doesn’t support the Donald off FR.
Cruz as a supreme court justice would do a lot more good for the country than as President. Lawyers make lousy executives ... and even worse politicians.
No that arrogant pos got stopped because many on the right refused to vote for both the nominees in the 2008 election and the 2012 reelection. Perhaps you was one of them, perhaps not
Plus other than his mother’s birth certificate he has shown no evidence of U.S. citizenship such as passport, or CRBA.
I can’t believe Trump didn’t bring that up when Cruz stated that Trump would be tied up in court because of Trump University issue.
Wow! The desperation grows.
I’m sorry Dave, but I’m afraid I can’t do that. ~ HAL
Don’t forget his dad sewed $$ into his undies, long before he ever annoiTED his son. And, KaSick’s dad was a mailman.
Isn’t “bargaining” one of the stages of grief?
Donald Trump is the product of people who stopped reading John Locke and started watching Honey Boo Boo.
Yep....David Limbaugh has definitely outted himself, as well.
Limbaugh makes a reasoned argument, and mostly gets hate as a response.
Oh well, sure. I mean, insults are certainly one thing that will lead people to support someone in the general election about whom they have a lot of questions.
There is an ugliness to this campaign that is going to turn off a whole lot of voters who normally will vote for whomever is the nominee.
One man pipe dream is more like it. Cruz started his campaign by trying to win the so called conservatives who sat out the last election because they couldn't vote for Mitt Romney. Well...he's won those guys and just about no one else. There is absolutely no way that Ted Cruz wins in November. Ted has zero appeal to independents and zero appeal to democrats. You can't win a national election with just the most conservative wing of the GOP supporting you. No way. No how.
There's just no way in hell I'll ever change my vote from Trump to Cruz. I'd rather go swimming with an anchor around my ankles.
Dave needs to read and consider my analysis here:

I support Cru...and will do so until he ether wins the nomination, or drops out.
But the reality on the ground is, because of the three reasons I give in the link above...people are going to continue to flock to Trump, and you are not going to deride them, shame them, or convince them otherwise.
That’s the reality.
So, I will support Cruz, but be willing...when the general election comes along, because of the things I point out there, to support Trump 100% against Sanders of Hillary should he become the nominee.
I have several problems with the Donald.
1. Ever since he arrived on the scene he’s been a one man stunt show, pulling stunts left and right to no reward. He’s accomplished absolutely nothing with these stunts except getting his name and face on the news.
2. His supporters think he is the Messiah.
3. His cheating on his wives.
4. His support of democrats including having the Clintons at his wedding.
6. His propensity to lie. He’s consistently lied about his opponents.
On top of that he’s a loud mouthed, obnoxious bully.
Tired of being told what to do and how to think by the Limbos. Respect is a two way street.
I have no issues with Cruz as a true conservative and can count on him to vote in the countries best interest in the Senate. My issue is his ability to lead and get things done. Cruz has enemies on both sides as will Trump. More Reagan Democrats will be supportive of Trump that Congressional Dems may work with him than Cruz. Personality and leadership are intangibles that are tough to come by. Cruz just doesn’t have them.
Although I agree with David Limbaugh’s assessment, I applaud you Buckeye for articulating a pro-Trump rationale, rather than name calling, gratuitous insult, and ad hominem against Cruz and his supporters.
