And we wonder why the economy never sparks when so much effort is spent on taxes.

Ha...Trump can say he couldn’t release his tax forms because he can’t get an EPA sign off on the damage caused by cutting down all those trees to make the paper and all the carbon dust from the photocopiers.

8. The ways in which a great debt, so constituted and applied, will contribute to the ultimate end in view are both numerous and obvious. (1) The favorite few, thus possessed of it, whether within or without the government, will feel the staunchest fealty to it, and will go through thick and thin to support it in all its oppressions and usurpations. (2) Their money will give them consequence and influence, even among those who have been tricked out of it. (3) They will be the readiest materials that can be found for a hereditary aristocratic order, whenever matters are ripe for one. (4) A great debt will require great taxes; great taxes, many taxgatherers and other officers; and all officers are auxiliaries of power.

7. It must not be forgotten that the members of the legislative body are to have a deep stake in the game. This is an essential point, and happily is attended with no difficulty. A sufficient number, properly disposed, can alternately legislate and speculate, and speculate and legislate, and buy and sell, and sell and buy, until a due portion of the property of their constituents has passed into their hands to give them an interest against their constituents

6. But the grand nostrum will be a public debt,

Next month, I will start my least favorite task in the world, getting our income tax data ready for our CPA.

I will take over our large dining room table to stack the various income stuf and deductible expenses stuff.

My wife handles our health care deducible staff. Then, she gets a book and goes outside if the weather is good or to a far corner of the house as my old Navy language returns.

Our stack is only about 3/4 of inch thick.

Cruz should put a tweet out that says under his plan all that paperwork goes away while under his plan, it remains....

The pictures are from October so under 4 months old. Look at the mountain of paper he has to deal with and the tax lawyers and the accountants. Then the audits that happen because the Obama wants to dick Trump around the way they did Dr Carson as a vendetta tool.

Most of my final composite 1099's won't arrive until mid-March, and not a single K-1 has arrived as of yet. I just sent my accountant my estimates so I can at least avoid a late fee/fine and send in an estimated payment (if needed on top of the quarterlies I had already sent).

He should ship his tax forms to the others in a dumptruck.

The IRS is a criminal enterprise. Trump needs to use the discussion about his tax returns to attack the IRS!

Easy for me to say. It is disgustingly obvious that the IRS is being used as a political weapon by Obama.

How many IRS agents do you think are combing Trumps tax return specifically looking for political fodder?

Trump deserves a lot of credit for subjecting himself to this process. He has a beautiful family and the lifestyle of the rich and famous. I don't want to hear that he is doing this for any reasons other than love of country. He is a patriot.

Romney working with Rubio on this means they might use taxes as a weapon if they ever get into power.

I think all of what we need is here.

Next month, I will find out. A couple of years ago, I dropped the dime on the late offenders re getting stuff to us late. I turned them into the IRS. Since, then, the forms have arrived no later than February.

I can imagine a man with as many assets as he having a tax nightmare.
But I’m sure he has an entire accounting department with dozens of employees.
I’m sure he has no clue what is in 90% of the papers there and doesn’t have time to go through it all. Thats what he pays people for.

Heck a 1040ez is aggravating to me.

I've been trying to get motivated for a month. Two "simple" LLCs, 5 clients, one house, but a major pain. I'll gladly give up "loopholes" (as Ds call deductions) for a slightly smaller rate and simple form.

If they also get rid of the pain involved in hiring people I'd have 3-5 employees per LLC. But it's not worth it, especially since any additional income I have will be taxed at a higher rate and I'm happy with what I have.
