Donald Trump is slated to appear as a witness in the case charging him and the former Trump University with fraud.
The plaintiffs and defense attorneys in the case both have listed Trump on their witness lists recently submitted to the court.
While a trial date has yet to be set, it could take place in late spring or early summer. The final pretrial conference in the case is scheduled for May 6.
The case was initially filed nearly six years ago in federal court in Southern California.
It is one of three suits that Trump University faces, including one by the New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who accused the school of being a "bait-and-switch scheme."

Lawsuits like this go on for years.
In the end, every one will agree to a sealed settlement.
If any of these suits had merit, he would have settled and cleared them off his desk a long time ago.
The only effect these suits will have is to become talking point fodder, which could actually damage him....so it probably would have been better for him to have settled a long time ago.

Nice deflection. But "Trump University" was never a school, never offered any degrees or diplomas. It was a scam that offered a lot of things it never fulfilled. Whether or not it crossed over the line into fraud is what the trial will determine, but at the very least they had some very questionable practices, and have at least two states looking into possible criminal charges as well as the civil cases.

The New York complaint alleges Trump University earned about $40 million in revenue between 2005 and 2011.

Never mind the many fine assessments of the “University” course work, delivered by the business students, who incidentally had no agenda to enlist for the purpose of “taking down a titan”.

Because unlike you, I actually take the time do do a little research. Take Rubio's advice and learn to use Google - you might be surprised what you can learn.
Apparently most of Trump’s supporters must have attended there, so you should have no trouble finding out how to get a whole Mexican made wardrobe with the university logo on it.
Did his university advertise a certain type of class but instead indoctrinated the students into leftist ideology like just about 99% of universities today?
After nearly 8 years of lawlessness on the part of people in high office it is not as if everyone is all that concerned.
Think it through.
If he is found guilty of fraud he will pay money because it is a civil case.
But, if he gets a deal where he can build a prison - you don't think he would not put his name on it?

If you read the article it might become more apparent to you. The first sentence says, “The plaintiffs and defense attorneys in the case both have listed Trump on their witness lists recently submitted to the court.” If it was a criminal case it would say the PROSECUTOR and defense attorneys. This is just a lawsuit where people want to get money. Since most schools these days do nothing but indoctrinate and not educate... probably 90% of graduates from almost every school could sue with just as much merit.
