Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.
Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment†portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

I really didn’t read this the first time as I know your MO. This coming from a supporter of the candidate who posts personal insults on Twitter daily.
Thinking for yourself is hard work.
I, for one, would like to have Mr. Christie in a key position in the Trump Presidency. Same for Mr. Guillani.
Both these gentlemen are better suited for the law enforcement side of American interests rather than the political side, imo.

Christy will be a pit bull on Rubio, I am not overjoyed with this endorsement however Christy will take Rubio to the woodshed!!!!

I live in NY, and I don’t know ONE dem out of dozen and dozens that doesn’t despise him.

Most of the people ‘smearing’ Christie were the usual deep South (Texans!) people who support Cruz and loathe the northeast. I should know; I bear the scars for ten years from these people.

Hilarious seeing people falling Christie “establishment”. The word has lost all meaning...
You could tell by their body language on the debate stage that these were two guys who knew each other and liked each other. So this isn’t surprising. Christie will be AG, though, Trump needs someone with different appeal for Veep.
I wonder if the irony will be lost to the Trumpsters?

It’s different. Christie isn’t my favorite guy from an ideological stance, but he is an excellent campaigner.
Net gain for Trump....and the other campaigns would love to have this guy out campaigning....including Cruz.

I think you are right. All the VP wannabees need to endorse before Trump locks up the nomination.
In my view having Huckabee’s daughter join Team Trump yesterday made Christie jump.
My guess is Huckabee will also endorse before Super Tuesday.
I could easily live with a Trump/Christie or Trump/Huckabee ticket.
