It’s great because Christie loves to cling to winners.

Trump is the only one not in the pocket of the elites, huh? Too funny.

“You Cruz people have 1 play. Scream infantile snark followed by a childish insult.”
I really didn’t read this the first time as I know your MO. This coming from a supporter of the candidate who posts personal insults on Twitter daily.
Thinking for yourself is hard work.

I, for one, would like to have Mr. Christie in a key position in the Trump Presidency. Same for Mr. Guillani.
Both these gentlemen are better suited for the law enforcement side of American interests rather than the political side, imo.

I’m ready for another poll about how unshakeable DT supporters are in their commitment to him.

there is NO CHANCE that trump will take either of those.
I live in NY, and I don’t know ONE dem out of dozen and dozens that doesn’t despise him.
It’s like everyone on this board forgot what dems stand for. How could they vote for Trump?
some are stuck 30 years ago when there were all those blue collar Reagan democrats.
you think the 20 and 30 something dems of today are the same?
where are the figures or polls to back up ANY assertion that trump can take these two states?
PA and VA, maybe. OH and FL too.
but people keep saying “why, he CAN take NY and NJ!” with nothing concrete to back it up

Most of the people ‘smearing’ Christie were the usual deep South (Texans!) people who support Cruz and loathe the northeast. I should know; I bear the scars for ten years from these people.

why? two northeast republican politicians.
weak on abortion, guns, and social conservatism.
it makes perfect sense.
And you're gonna vote for them because the alternative is too horrific to contemplate.

You could tell by their body language on the debate stage that these were two guys who knew each other and liked each other. So this isn’t surprising. Christie will be AG, though, Trump needs someone with different appeal for Veep.

Hmmm, a RINO endorses Trump, very interesting.
I wonder if the irony will be lost to the Trumpsters?

“It helps put New Jersey in play.”
No, it doesn’t. About the only people who dislike Christie here in NJ more than Democrats these days are Republicans. And NJ will never be in play anyway. One of the things I struggle with while living (and mostly loving) New Jersey is knowing that politically this state along with NY are both lost forever.

It’s different. Christie isn’t my favorite guy from an ideological stance, but he is an excellent campaigner.
Net gain for Trump....and the other campaigns would love to have this guy out campaigning....including Cruz.
To: Lazamataz
I am a Trumpanista, but a Christie endorsement is a YUGE negative.Meh, I don't think endorsements carry the weight they used to.

I think you are right. All the VP wannabees need to endorse before Trump locks up the nomination.
In my view having Huckabee’s daughter join Team Trump yesterday made Christie jump.
My guess is Huckabee will also endorse before Super Tuesday.
I could easily live with a Trump/Christie or Trump/Huckabee ticket.
