AMAZING SPEECH! Pastor Jeffress is Plucked from Crowd and Endorses Donald Trump in Fort Worth
Gateway Pundit ^ | 2/26/16 | Jim Hoft

Pastor Jeffress was plucked from the crowd today and asked to go on stage at the Trump Fort Worth rally.

Pastor Jeffress gave Trump an amazing endorsement. Jeffress called on ALL EVANGELICALS to endorse Donald Trump.

Let me just say briefly I know three things about Donald Trump. Number One: He Sincerely loves this country. He has 10 billion reasons he doesn’t have to do this. But he sincerely wants to make America great again!

Number Two: He is pro-Life. I have talked with him in Trump Towers. He wants to protect the unborn… I tell you what, some of you who say, “Well I don’t know.” His pro-Life conversion was real.

“fooled by the greatest carnival barker of all time”.
He is the second best. The best one sits in the white hut.

— I’m pro-life, but I changed my view a number of years ago.”

“One of the reasons I changed — one of the primary reasons — a friend of mine’s wife was pregnant, in this case married. She was pregnant and he didn’t really want the baby. And he was telling me the story,” Trump told Brody. “He was crying as he was telling me the story. He ends up having the baby and the baby is the apple of his eye. It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him. And you know here’s a baby that wasn’t going to be let into life. And I heard this, and some other stories, and I am pro-life.”

“So those stories did change you, they came around and changed you?” Brody asked.

“They changed me. Yeah, they changed my view as to that, absolutely,” Trump responded.—

My best friend was pro-abortion until his sister started popping out babies. He loves them, and it changed him, completely. Things happen during the course of one’s life that can profoundly change one’s thinking!

He’s running Margaret Sanger’s battle plan.

Give money to church leaders for their endorsements... repeat.

Did he? Well I heard him say over and over that they would get money and that they do great work. Just another flip flop so that everyone hears what they want to hear and can argue “No, he said the opposite.” No matter what the issue, he did. He has been on every side of all the key issues. He becomes liar proof in the mind of his followers. Ask him any question: Do you or do you not support X? His answer: Yes.

Assume you are a billionaire; you have done it all, and find no more challenge in sealing deals and increasing your fortunes. Your children have all been raised right, are well off, and could do fine on their own merits without your help. You do not have so long left in this world, but you have had to watch an amoral idiot destroy the country you love for eight years. What is left for you to achieve? What is your motivation? Tell me all about Trump’s selfish reasons for wanting the presidency: Money? He could gain far more in business ventures if he cared about that; the only pay off in the presidency is the speaker fees and connections which take years to benefit from, and he already has the connections, and speakers fees are peanuts compared to his current wealth and capital gains. Power? As president he would have considerable power, but in our governmental system his power is severely checked; the executive is limited by the Congress, the Senate, and the Judiciary. He has far more power as a mogul who can operate without so many checks or so much scrutiny. Ego? Being a Television /Movie star brings far more fame, fandom and ego gratification— he’s done that. BTW, Trump is my second choice behind Cruz, but this notion of selfish motives makes no sense to me. So what is this selfish motive and supporting rationale?

Preachers should never publicly endorse any politician, left, right or in-between. Privately, as an ordinary citizen or in the voting booth is another matter. But otherwise, whether they intend to or not, they are teaching people to put their trust in politicians, because, as preachers, they seldom can be separated from the office they hold in the minds of their people. They should, publicly, endorse only God: “It is better to trust in the LORD that to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:8-9)

Think about it, when this preacher endorses a democrat and that one a republican, what does that mean? Does that mean every preacher simply has his own spin on the truth? And, if so, what does that mean about the other things he says publicly in pursuance of the work his people truly have called him to do? Sad to say, politicians have been misusing the church like this for a long time, both on the left and on the right. Preachers need to say, no. I will not be misused. Politicians need to quit misusing preachers and churches (along with quite a list of other things they misuse).

I like that bigbob.  This is why we love Trump.  It's not just the pollllicies, it's also his proven ability to lead and get things done in large organizations.

This guy is going to be more effective and unite the country far better than Reagan did.  He's a true blue American with a warrior's work ethic and a heart of gold.

As he says, "I've been greedy all my life, and now I'm going to be greedy for Americans."

Cruzers are going to be proud of him, too.  They just need to take the leap of faith that he will do what's right for both Americans and the conservative cause.

Trump is 5 moves ahead of everyone. Notice he really didn’t lash out at Cruz that much today. Trump is thinking winner take all Florida. He also wants Cruz folks thinking he is a better choice for Texas without crushing the guy they may still think of voting for but perhaps had not yet voted. REally, really smart for a guy some think is a buffoon.

I believe he got in the race last summer because it would be fun and it would help his brand. Then he found that people were far more gullible than he expected, so he kept at it. Soon he was the far and away leader in the polls, so he started to test how much he could get away with saying and realized that there is nothing he can do or say that will deter his supporters. Now he is sprinkling in statements that in most cases would get a candidate run off a GOP debate stage and many of the hardcore conservatives that post here are fine with that as well. so, what the hell, let’s take this all the way, see if Trump can actually win the presidency, we can figure out how to govern between election day and the inauguration. Governing really doesn’t matter anyway as Trump has no long-held core beliefs other than self-promotion is the most important thing one can do. He will bend whatever way the wind is blowing come January 2017.

I hope I am wrong and I will be the first to admit it if I am. My question to you - will you come back and eat your crow when this Trump experiment blows up?

I’m as pro-life ans you can be. Jeffress always rubbed me teh wrong way.

Anyone who says Planned parenthood does wonderful things isn’t pro-life. Anyone who gives large amounts of money to pro-abortion politicians isn’t pro-life. Anyone who says that a pro-abort judge would make a great Supreme Court justice isn’t pro-life.

Anyone who thinks that a guy who has done what Trump has done is a buffoon is very short of critical thinking skills.

The man is amazing and we are witnessing something I never dreamed would happen.

Jeffers isn’t left wing at all. It is surprising that he has been in for Trump for longer than today. He has taken a lot of flak over socially conservative stands in the past. We’ll see if his trust is misplaced. I think he is going against a segment of the Southern Baptists by endorsing the anti-illegal immigration candidate.

There will be a day when his supporters wake up and understand they have been fooled by the greatest carnival barker of all time. Not sure if it will happen this year on election day or a few months into a Trump presidency, but it will surely happen.

You know whom I have been fooled by? The GOP-controlled Congress that passed the Omnibus bill funding everything Obama wanted thru the end of his term. The GOP has controlled the House since 2011 and never used their Constitutional responsibility of using the power of the purse to thwart Obama's agenda. When are GOP voters going to wake up and see that the political class has fooled and manipulated us for the sake of greed and power? When are going to have someone running this country that actually cares about the people and not their corporate paymasters and special interests?

Trump may be the last chance we get to have a Rep in the WH for generations. The Dems are on the cusp of becoming the permanent majority party thanks to mass immigration and minority birthrates. The GOP is a dying party that has lost the popular vote in five out of the last six elections including Obama receiving the two highest vote totals in American history--by far.

A Trump presidency would be an accomplishment in and of itself.

He believes in nothing. He is putting worldly matters before his duty to God. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
