It could be that the establishment prefewrs Trump, and his centrist to liberal points of view over Cruz and the conservatives.

No. The Establishment is not afraid of Cruz. At all. He’s easily controlled. They ARE afraid of Trump. He is on a nonstop (and thus far extremely successful) mission to expose them for what they are. Can’t have that. Not to mention the gravy train will be severely slowed down when he is elected.

What do you mean “could be”? (rhetorical question)

I used to be a strong Ted Cruz supporter, he and Trump my top two candidates. I even overlooked Cruz and loony Beck handing out Teddy Bears to illegal alien gang members. Around the time of the Iowa caucuses, Cruz and his campaign started changing. The Dr. Carson incident, some ads that were misleading, etc.

His performance during this last debate, though not as bad as grinning Rubio's, was a turn-off. He and Rubio made a farce of the debate. Did you see him shake hands with Robot Rubio of the Gang of 8? Yes, Cruz is an establishment guy. Does Cruz really think that by attacking Trump he will win over Trump's followers?
