Why didn’t he tell that to Trump?

Although I’d like to see Cruz on the court, I note that Trump has called him a liar on several occasions. It would be awkward (I think) to name a “liar” to the court.

With zero judicial experience? I don’t believe it. It’s nonsense.

I sure as the heck would rather be on the SCOTUS than be President. Lifetime gig, real power.

I find that hard to believe since no rational person would think that Rubio has a chance. Or that Cruz wants to be on the Supreme Court instead of the Oval Office.

Then he better play much nicer with Trump!

Obama is not going to appoint him.
Pretty sure Trump does not want to either.
Maybe Cruz is saying he will drop out and support Rubio if Rubio will appoint him to SCOTUS.

Fed Grand Jury meeting in secret to indict Hillary.... have it on REAL good authority. Don’t need trump to beat bernie, or even Biden, who’s saying his rosary today.

You say a Libertarian Trump adviser says that Ted Cruz will drop out of the Presidential race in exchange for a promise to nominate him to the Supreme Court?
What nonsense. Who would believe such a promise, from either Rubio or Trump?

Well, Cruz has not made many friends in the Senate that would have to vote to confirm him.
