TULSA, Okla. — Striking a more populist tone ahead of Super Tuesday, Ted Cruz delivered a revamped stump speech to a raucous Oklahoma rally Sunday.
The campaign, he said, is dedicated to “all the working men and women with calluses on your hands.”
“This election is going to be about three key ideas: Jobs, freedom and security,” he said.
He cast his differences on immigration with rival Marco Rubio as a question not only of values but of jobs, arguing the “amnesty” Rubio supported in the Gang of 8 plan would hurt Americans’ employment prospects.
As for Trump, he said, “you don’t get to abuse the immigration laws and pretend to be a champion of working men and women.”
The rally at an expo hall on the state fairgrounds drew roughly 1,000 people.
Conservative talker Glenn Beck warmed up the crowd with a swipe at Donald Trump, who earlier Sunday had refused to repudiate an endorsement from David Duke, the longtime Ku Klux Klan leader and Louisiana politician.
“Donald Trump’s response this morning was I’m not going to condemn anyone. I need to do my research… I don’t know what kind of research you need to do on the Klan. It’s like, the Nazis and the Klan – pretty easy,” Beck said, after criticizing him for a lesser evil, being a builder “who puts a lot of gold crap on everything.”
Cruz and Rubio both condemned Trump through social media.

David Duke hasn’t been in the Klan for 30 years, and he hasn’t even lived in the US for about 15 years. Glenn Beck and now Cruz have adopted the left-wing tactics of calling people “racist” and “Nazi” when they don’t agree with them. Pathetic losers, both of them.
Oh wait, all three are the same Glenn Beck.
The hypocrisy is strong in Cruz.

That is the best the Cruz/Beck team can do? Talk about gutter politics.
Maybe he’ll open up fire laws to while he’s destroying the First Amendment.

Cruz drives people away from Christianity by his behavior. He defames the church. If he were a leader in my church I would find another one.
So now it’s revealed, the clan guy thrown out of the tTrump rally and David Duke wete put together by Cruz.
