Why Trump Is Winning
Newsmax ^ | 2/26/2016 | Scott Rasmussen

In a time where voters believe that all of official Washington is corrupt, the notion of having a president who doesn't owe anybody anything can seem enticing. Besides, many voters concluded long ago that it doesn't matter whether Republicans or Democrats win.

In either case, the political insiders are the real winners and the nation is the loser.

We've seen this storm coming. Three presidents in a row came into office with their party in control of Congress. Each time, unhappy voters expressed their disapproval in midterm elections by putting the other party in charge of congress.

Never before in American history has that happened to even two consecutive presidents.

This is a fundamental rejection of both political parties.

The rise of Donald Trump as the Republican front-runner is another expression of this frustration.

True enough. I understand liberals fleeing toward Trump. The number of conservatives drinking the koolaid gives me pause.

It is also a repudiation of conservatism.

Trump is winning because of Hillary and Jeb! and Romney and Obama and people are sick of the ‘stablishment.

Conservatism has failed people for over ten years. Conservatism needs to be retooled so that it produces something here. Right now conservatism is an untested academic exercise.

Donald Trump is authentic. Win or lose he has earned a pretty prominent spot in U.S history, however long that lasts.

We want the illegal alien inundation stopped.

Both parties have been colluding against the citizens to make sure we cannot do anything about it.

It is also a repudiation of conservatism.

It's a repudiation of politicians like Rubio and Cruz will say and do whatever it takes for forward THEIR objectives whether it benefits the American people or not.

Today's blather about KKK support shows that both Cruz and Rubio are awful human beings.

It’s not a repudiation of conservatism; it’s a repudiation of the GOPe.

They’re the ones who repudiated conservatism.

Otherwise, why did the GOPe-controlled House give The Won everything he wanted in the most recent budget?

I don’t recall Trump ever claiming to be a conservative. On the other, there’s a flim-flam man claiming to be “the only Constitutional Conservative” in the race. If he were that knowledgable, he would know Canadians are ineligible.

Cruz/Rubio voted for TPP/TPA and they are accusing Trump of being the con man! Simply amazing.

It is a repudiation of the conservatism of McCain, ¡Yeb!, Graham, Flake, Rubio, and all the rest of the flunkies of The Cheap Labor Express.

None of the other candidates spoke of deporting illegal aliens and left that ground open for Trump.

More than likely, it is a repudiation of both of the ruling parties. Trump just happens to be the recipient of the good will. The Republicans have power in both houses, but they bend to the will of Obama when it comes to the budget. Nineteen trillion and counting. I am hoping Paul Ryan has the guts to take a stand on the next budget, but we will see.

“True enough. I understand liberals fleeing toward Trump. The number of conservatives drinking the koolaid gives me pause.”

Koolaid is letting the GOPe, ONCE AGAIN, choose our candidate - which is EXACTLY what will happen should Cruz, or even Rubio start winning, as there is NO WAY they will get a majority of delegates - so the GOPe gets to PICK OUR CANDIDATE, once again.

Now that is Kool-Aid...unless you’re for open borders.

Rubio and Cruz think they should get away with it because Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama got away with it.

Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009, happened with the complete cooperation of both parties.
They want the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
Confuse people about the clear meaning of a three word phrase and voila, every anchor baby and Winston Chrurchill is eligible.

The bench was the reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain as cover for Obama.
Jindal, Rubio, Haley and Cruz were all up and comers and the future of the party and ineligible.
