Business Legend Jack Welch: 'The CRAZIEST Thing in This Election is People Calling Ted Cruz a Liar'
PoliStick ^ | February 27, 2016 | Matthew K. Burke

In perhaps the craziest election season in decades, if not ever, singling out one item as the kookiest is virtually impossible.

However, Former GE CEO Jack Welch, widely considered one of the most successful businessmen in history, said that Donald Trump and Marco Rubio calling constitutional conservative Ted Cruz a “liar” without being able to back it up is the “craziest” thing of this election cycle.

Appearing on FOX News with host Neil Cavuto, Jack Welch said:

“The craziest thing in this election has been the idea of people calling Ted Cruz a liar. I’ve watched this guy for the last 18 months. The one thing this man is is straight and truthful. Truth and trust go with this guy. I wrote a book about Truth and Trust — this guy personifies it.”

Let’s take ethanol. He goes into Iowa with a six-term governor and tells them we’re through with subsidies.  Right straight in the eye — no one else gets there. They all come around to it — Rubio always comes around to Ted’s positions eventually.”

Jack Welch wasn’t shocked that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a failed RINO presidential candidate who led the Garden State to a record nine credit downgrades under his leadership, endorsed Trump saying that Christie is a “political animal” who is “interviewing for a job” in a presumed Trump administration since he will soon be looking for work.

“He needs a government check and he loves the political scene,” Welch said of Christie. “Once a political animal, always a political animal.”

Jack Welch summarized his support for Ted Cruz by applauding the Texas Senator for being the first to call out the corruption in Washington, D.C., in both parties, where politicians and crony lobbyists join together to benefit from big government at the expense of taxpayers. Cruz coined the term “Washington Cartel” to accurately describe this unholy alliance.

“Ted Cruz is the first one to call this crowd a cartel — to call them for what they were — and that’s why I supported him,” Welch told Cavuto.

“I am disgusted by some here on FR defaming Cruz with half stories & innuendo. He has been one of the few bright spots for conservatism the past few years. I understand liking one candidate over another but impugning Cruz with ‘liar liar’ is low class.”

Concur.

This seems to be the same CEO who was a big proponent of outsourcing American jobs to cheap labor countries (i.e. India)— certainly not a popular stance this election.

“As a Conservative he’s fine, but as a campaigner he blew it. I don’t believe he’s a liar, but I think he went on the attack against Trump and got himself into a fight he wasn’t ready for, when his best strategy would have been to stick to the issues.”

His inexperience led him to make poor decisions. Responable position. This is why your parents don’t want you hanging out with “undesireables”. Not sure how you avoid that as a politician.

You DO know that it was Roger Stone who pushed out that meme, don’t you? Roger, though fired from the TRUMP campaign, was simply free to give Cruz a dose of his own medicine. The Rx was The CARSON TREATMENT. Cruz had it coming, didn’t he?

No harm, no foul. That’s what Cruz would say, right?

Like I’ve said before;

“In July 1965, under the leadership of President Lyndon Johnson, Congress enacted Medicare to provide health insurance to people age 65 and older, regardless of income or medical history.”

“Medicaid was signed into law in 1965 alongside Medicare. All states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories have Medicaid programs designed to provide health coverage for low-income people.”

Government has been paying for people’s health care 15 years before Reagan.

Is Senator Cruz going to kill those plans along with Obama care? I didn’t think so.

Yes, indeed. Ted Cruz campaigning in the U. S. Senate for and enabling Barack Obama’s trade agenda was one of the high spots of principled conservatism in modern times.

Who is going to kill those plans? Trump has been totally consistent on saying he will not cut or reform Medicare or Soc. Sec. at all. He has bashed Paul Ryan for years for proposing reforms to them.

On my drive to Mass yesterday morning, I was listening to an interview of Cruz. He was saying TRUMP is for partial birth abortion. Those were his words.

Audibly, I said to myself, that if Cruz were in front of me at that moment, I would try very hard to break his jaw. I had to regain my comportment to even get out of the car.

Cruz’ lying is pathological, as is his now obvious clinical ambition. As TRUMP said, it is the drowning man who is the most dangerous.

I will never forget Cruz for his lying on that subject. He may still need to duck if we ever meet. Unforgivable.

You do know that Trump pushed a “Cruz is dropping out” rumor today, right?
********************************************************************************
I saw that rumor being pushed by a Trump connected political operator. Now that this rumor is “out there”, if Cruz does not drop out TODAY, Cruz will be lying (using typical Trump-supporter thinking).

Do remember the GOPe hates Cruz more than Trump.
And you are doing their work for them.
I think your position is ‘short sighted’.

Cruz is a liar on the level of bill clinton

Cruz pushed for TPA. TPP TPA or obamatrade is so bad for America (worst thing ever)
that just this 1 web page I link here proves that

1.TPP will be the end of America
2. Cruz is a total fraud, liar , charlatan
3.Only Trump can save us from TPP and total destruction
4. TPP allows 3rd world countries to send 100’s of millions of immigrant workers into the USA as immigrants

http://dianawest.net/Home/tabid/36/EntryId/3275/Trump-Senior-Policy-Adviser-Stephen-Miller-The-Moment-Ted-Cruz-Threw-in-with-the-Globalists.aspx

I’m sure that Cruzers will call me names etc. but try to do it after seeing the evidence at that link or web page I just posted(try to read all that web page). Then tell me how all that I say here is not true or why? it is true and just that one link proves all that. of course there’s even more evidence elsewhere but showing that 1 web page proves all that shows the threat we in America face.

This is a must read for every American. Cruz was so arrogant that he thought none of us would ever understand all his manipulations and they are totally evil, corrupt, heinous , manipulations.

By voting for the Corker bill this is what Cruz allowed

Iran to do to the USA , nuke US

From the linked article:

“In the missive, Trump outlines his expected approach to religious freedom if he were to occupy the White House. Making the point the president cannot pass legislation, Trump says he would “certainly sign legislation that protects religious liberty for all.””

Where is the conditional support? I’ve read the rest of the article and I don’t see it.
