Republicans May ‘Look at Alternatives’ if a ‘Disaster’ Candidate Like Trump Becomes Nomin
Breitbart ^ | February 29,2016 | by JORDAN SCHACHTEL

John Sununu, the former New Hampshire senator and John Kasich supporter, urged Republican voters to “choose the strongest nominee they can — someone who will win.” But he thinks Republicans may “look at alternatives” if “we have a nominee who is a disaster for the party.”

On Breitbart News Daily, Stephen K. Bannon asked Sununu what he thought about the potential for a third party candidate should Trump become the nominee. Sununu cautioned that if Hillary Clinton is not defeated, she would continue Obama’s agenda, and would be able to appoint a Supreme Court nominee.

“That is one of the reasons why people need to look at John Kasich because he will win. He’ll win Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire,” Sununu added, claiming that top contenders Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% and real estate developer Donald Trump have “no chance” to win those states against Hillary Clinton.

“Whoever the nominee is, I think and I hope that Republicans support them, but what you’re talking about is a hypothetical where what happens if we have a Donald Trump who is running 10, 15 points behind HIllary Clinton,” Sununu said. “There’s been a lot of polling showing Trump is the weakest Republican we could put up.

“What Republicans will do, if we have a nominee who is a disaster for the party, a nominee who is trailing badly, are they going to look at alternatives? I can’t tell you,” he added.

“I want a Republican who is strong, who will generate broad support across the spectrum,” Sununu said of Ohio Governor John Kasich, who he is supporting.

Breitbart News Daily airs weekdays from 6 am to 9 am EST on SiriusXM Patriot 125.

Well . . . it ‘is’ the last days. The ‘great delusion’ is coming a little faster than most expected - but then, there has to be a transition phase.

"If Sununu says yes, then I say no."

And I don't care if it is about babes, beer or baseball.

EXACTLY what I was thinking, tflabo.

Sununu was the fool who convinced that other fool, George Herbert Walker Bush, to pick that leftie David Souter as a Supreme Court Justice.

And when Souter tired of the job, did he resign when George W. Bush was president? Noooooo.....he resigned when Barry O’bummer was president, so that a left-wing “justice” would replace him.

Sununu needs to shut his pie hole. He and his ilk have done enough damage to this country.

You said...
“OK you stay at home and if Clinton wins you can sit there and be happy you did nothing to stop her, but never moan about the state of country as you did nothing but stayed in that night.”

So we get to choose between Clinton and her donor?

Nice

The dick was too much of a gentleman to get down in the trenches. Mitt was a classic case of fighting today’s wars with yesterday’s methods.

Every candidate they’ve run, or supported in the last ten years have been disasters. Long live the Whig party!

Somewhere along the line, so-called conservatives went from knowing that following the Constitution would allow us to have our country back.

So...how's that been working for you, coming up on 30 years?

Delusion — fooling people — is how the devil operates.

The elect may be temporarily tricked, but not forever. Because they can’t lose their salvations.

It seemed wrong to me that Ted Cruz was being influenced so by this chap of uncertain faith.

I don’t think there’s anything in the bible that requires America or any other country (other than Israel) to have a believing ruler. But in general, the more righteously the ruler conducts himself, the better off the country is going to be.

Many people may yet end up being saved, but they are going to learn painful lessons on the way to it, if they are.

Gave money to Ted too and many others which I would if I were him to make money.

It’s why officials are corrupt, they are all bought off and he knew it.

So are you saying the Constitution is a faulty document? And would you advocate a President Trump going around it in order to “make America great again?”

But it doesn’t mean he had to praise her.

I can just see the commercials now. The DNC will run Donald’s own words were he praises her

The GOPe has money strings being pulled by the big money people that put them in power. They CAN”T and WON’T listen to the anger against them. (Well, they could listen to the anger but won’t because they have been neutered long ago). They have no weapon with which to fight the revolution THEY created. Change is at the door and they are scared VERY SCARED!

I still remember Sununu crapping all over conservatives during his years with Bush Senior.

Didn’t he get canned? And now he thinks he can choose our candidate for us? He’s a big ole loser, IMO.
