Trump's self-assessment that he's "capable of changing to anything I want to change to" also applies to his political "principles." This is a man who's reportedly switched party affiliations five times since the late 1980's. Who's donated to Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Who was pro-choice, was anti-gun, and was (is?) pro-Socialized healthcare. Who identified as a Democrat in the mid-2000's. Who praised Barack Obama and supported his "stimulus" boondoggle. And who criticized Mitt Romney for being too harsh on the issue of immigration in 2012, right around the time that he became a DREAM Act supporter. Now he's ostensibly all about big walls and mass deportations. This bogus transformation is painfully obvious.

Trump has proven already he’s completely malleable,” Carter explained. “I don’t think he has any fixed (positions) he’d go the White House and fight for. On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right wing policies he’d pursue if he became president.”

Gotta wonder about all the negotiations that the principled consistent conservative Cruz made with his Uniparty masters to make him behave as he’s done since the last debate.

During those meetings, it seems like for him, everything was negotiotiable.

After Donald Trump finishes doing all the “liberal” things he has promised: build the wall, deport illegals and Syrian invaders, cancel Obama’s unconstitutional executive orders, roll back twenty years of intrusive government regulations, prosecute Hillary and her crew, release the secret 28 pages from the 9/11 report, negotiate prescription drug purchases, repeal and replace Obamacare, simplify the Tax code, repatriate $2.5 trillion in off-shore profits, stop the IRS from abridging the free speech of Christian Churches, reform the libel laws to remove the “public figure” distinctions, defund Planned Parenthood until the stop doing abortions, cleaning up the mess that is the VA, cutting waste, fraud and abuse where ever it is found, canceling Common Core and returning control of education to the States, end the assault on the Second Amendment, audit the Federal Reserve System, investigate the harmful additives in Vaccines and the coverup of studies at the CDC, and destroy the culture of Political Correctness, then we can talk about all those “conservative” issues you want to address.

Trump: I Have A Great Relationship With Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer
I think that I'm going to be able to get along with Pelosi. I think I'm going to be able to -- I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem.

I always had a great relationship with Harry Reid.

I think I'll be able to get along well with Chuck Schumer. I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It's important that you get along.

The guy that always carried a gun through New York and wants to give the death penalty to teenage thugs is a liberal.

I'll give Mr. trump the benefit of the doubt.

I believe he will do what's in the BEST interest for ALL AMERICANS and the Country itself.

I can GUARANTEE you he will do MORE for America in ONE year than Obozo has accomplished during his entire 8 year term.

Reading the comments on this subject, it’s amazing how others read Trump’s statement. You would have answered the question the same way. To take a sentence out of a conversation, you’d all look guilty of whatever anyone wanted to use your words and charge you with.

I want someone who is not part of the GOP and that person could very well be a question on how he’d do it and what he’d do. I see Trump as getting things done in a hurry.. government usually takes too long to do anything. I see Trump as a man who would go to congress and be able to persuade them ... he doesn’t take no for an answer... and he would probably be working on common sense... that would work for me.. common sense trumps a college degree.

Enthusiastic Trump supporters appear to view him as a messiah come to save them, the unspoken thought being that he must really care about them and want what’s best for them. But they have forgotten that no man or woman is born good but rather that evil cuts right through the hearts of all humans. Thus the possibility of evil-—betrayal, treachery, etc.-— always exists. With respect to Trump, his excruciatingly filthy laundry is destined to be broadcast to the entire nation if he is nominated: http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/hillary-waits-to-eviscerate-trump-with-a-parade-of-his-victims/article/2584262

"Everything is negotiable," Trump said Monday

Trump is going to be very surprised when he runs up against people in Congress on both sides of the aisle who recognize that some things are not.

I heard trump with my own ears say that the policy wasn’t negotiable, but the construction and details were. IOW, he’s talking about things like design, location, etc.

It’s just more misrepresentation of the point while broadcasting just a snippet.

Well, another article that has Trump’s own words and the usual line of attack is to make the poster or the source of the article the issue. Typical.

Trump is perfect for them. Because his positions are all over the place and he hasn’t held public office, they can mold him into their perfect candidate. Whatever they are for, Trump must be for. We are asked to ignore all past statements, positions, donations, and just believe all the good things he and they believe he will do once in office. Threatening to sue the press? That’s RESTORING the First Amendment(yes, a freeper made that claim). He’s for the mandate? He really meant a different mandate. Donations to Reid, Shumer,Clinton? He had to do it. Praise for the work Planned Parenthood does? Well, yes, they do good work but just not the abortion part.

Many of us laughed at the Messiah worship BHO supporters did in 2008. Never thought we would be doing it again

I would expect the HEIGHT OF THE WALL to be negotiable.

No problem there.

I wish the GOPe had taken Obama on with the same ferocity they’ve attacked Donald Trump. And where was Mitt Romney when Mitch McConnell pulled a Harry Reid to make sure the TPP could not be filibustered. Where was Ben Sasse when George W. Bush bent over for Ted Kennedy and pushed Common Core on America? Oh yeah...he was WORKING for W. We have a nest of vipers in our bedroom. But TRUMP is the problem?

The weeping and wailing here will be unprecedented in about 3 years when the realization sets in that Trumpy isn’t going to do what he claims. Just my opinion.
