“I don’t see where Graham states that he’s endorsing Trump”

Me either. I didn’t see where Trump supported David Duke or the KKK, but that’s all you hear on the MSM.

Uh...pastor Saeed Abedini is from Idaho, where I live in the Boise area.

He was released with three other Iranian held prisoners in JAnuary, six weeks ago.

It is true that Trump spoke out for them during the Iranian deal, and that Franklin Graham supported the paster.

But this seems like old news to me. When Trump was speaking out against the deal and for the prisoners, they had not been released yet...six months ago.

This sounds like someone using an old news report to imply that Franklin Graham had endorsed Trump.

Can someone show me a recent report where Franklin Graham actually came out and endorsed Trump for President?

The last official statement I heard from him was in December when he said the following:

“I’m not endorsing any specific candidates in next year’s election, but I am strongly endorsing prayer—and I’m strongly urging Christians to get out and vote.

“We need to elect candidates at all levels that most closely support biblical values and principles. This may be the most important election in our nation’s history. America is headed in the wrong direction and only God can turn it around.”

Looking for the word endorse........... still looking.....

Just like CNN said that Carson was leaving the race. NO THEY DIDN’T.

Just like Donald Trump supports David Duke and the KKK because he would not denounce some unnamed groups, even though just the day before he had denounced David Duke.

Do you people not understand the English language?

I saw this Sasse person—for the first time—on the news this morning & was not impressed. His manners are atrocious. Who is this little back bencher anyway? Has he ever done anything significant?

I know who Franklin Graham is—his opinion matters to me. I have tremendous respect for Rev Graham & his long list of accomplishments.

"Not endorsing Trump..."

While Graham's statement was not an endorsement for the 2016 presidential race, it was an endorsement of Trump's political stand on this issue.

And further, in singling out Trump for this endorsement - rather than Rubio or Cruz - he clearly saying that he respects Trump as a national leader and that he would back Trump if he was the GOP candidate in November.

Graham's timing definitely contrasts him with pseudo-religious leaders like the hysterical bed-wetting Glenn Beck who has proclaimed the opposite.

Trump’s supporters TEND to be libertarian types

I disagree. No libertarian is attracted to Trump nationalistic authoritarianism. NeverTrump

[But let’s call it about as close to an endorsement as he’ll likely give]

Agreeing with one’s statement concerning one issue does not constitute an endorsement.

Why Cruz is more dangerous than Trump (explained in less than 2 minutes) - (And Reich even draws pictures for us)

This is a “must watch” video! Please share it with friends and family!

By Robert B. Reich who has endorsed Bernie Sanders because Hillary’s economic proposals are too modest. Reich was a Clinton administration Secretary of Labor, 1993 – Jan., 1997

If the GOPE and the Progressives prefer Trump over Cruz, that’s good enough for me….

I’m voting for Ted Cruz!

How about this? I will admit that I was duped by the article. It was very misleading. It is undated and in no way implies to an endorsement.

The website was misleading or the poster was. The comments were not from “1 hour” ago. They were from July 16, 2015.

Yep. I was suckered my the misleading article. That said, it’s not going to impact who I vote for today. Honestly, I am not sure if it will be Trump or Cruz. I don’t expect Cruz to win in Alabama but I don’t want marco coming in 2nd. If it’s not Cruz that wins the nomination, I will be supporting Trump. I am not 100% sold on any of them.

That’s not an endorsement of Trump.

All Graham said was he agree with Trump on Iran.

Graham has said many times that he is not endorse=ing any candidates.

Talk about stretching the truth.

The type of people who back Trump tend to be the exact same people who despise Evangelicals like Graham.

Interesting statement. I'm a born-again Christian, certainly what the MSM would call an Evangelical, and I support Mr. Trump. Would I prefer his faith was a little stronger? Absolutely. But I'm also not falling into the "our President is our spiritual leader!" trap anymore. The President's job is to lead this great country and uphold her constitution. The church's job is to evangelize.

If you really are an Evangelical who believes what you claim, then you are either ignorant or just don’t care - I don’t know what is worse - about Trump’s value system.

Do you know that he donated thousands to homosexual advocacy groups, who advocate TO CHILDREN, only a few short years ago? Did he ever disclaim this support?

You are completely blind to what kind of man this is. He cannot be believed any more than Obama can.

You’re forgiven. :)

I voted for CRUZ. He is not perfect, but is better than TRUMP who has held too many contradictory positions over the years.

However, I will vote for TRUMP if he is the nominee. No RUBIO for me.

wasn’t Saeed released in January, I thought I read articles about him being freed.

No, he was not. There was some coverage and mention of the fact that he was not freed; and, in fact, I don't think the subject was even brought up at the negotiating table. I have to wonder if Mr. Saeed is actually alive anymore.

This is a year-old article published on a political hack website, with a blatantly false headline. “Graham makes HUGE announcement about Trump” was a complete BS headline. Graham made no announcement whatsoever about Trump, but instead made a statement AGAINST the Iran deal in which he made a passing reference to the fact that Trump said no deal should be made as long as Iran refused to release the American hostages it was holding, which included Pastor Saeed. Kind of makes you wonder if politicalinsider.com is run by Trump’s organization when the editor decides to make this story of Franklin’s statement all about Trump instead of about the opposition to the disastrous Iran deal.

It has been largely ignored by the drive-by media, but he was released last month.
