With Trump everything is negotiable. He loves to negotiate.

Reagan and Tip Oneil negotiated the grand compromise. The Democrat House Speaker would allow Supply Side Tax Cuts and winning the Cold War. Reagan would allow the Democrats to spend on Domestic programs like drunken.... well like Drunken Congressmen.

Was that a good compromise? Will Trump negotiate a better deal?

Reality TV comes to the White House.

Smoking out the NY Slimes for leaking an off-the-record editorial board meeting.

LOL!

All those "noble" journalists that go to jail to "protect their sources" are just a bunch of lying, law-breaking scum, from this point forward.

Thanks, Donald & the NY Times!

Didn’t he say though that the 11 million illegals have got to go?? And now he’s backing up on that already??

um , the liberal principles that he has had all of his life, or the conservative ones that he has had since august?

Just wait until you see his *new* principles, once he pivots (back) to the center-left for the general election.

bingo.

"Cruz indicated that he would only deport those who are apprehended, such as those who commit crimes or are caught by prospective employers without having immigrated legally. Immigrations and Custom Enforcement or Border Patrol agents could also apprehend those along the border.

So MS-13 members, you’re safe

Illegals pre rape of women and children, you’re safe

Illegals pre crime of any sort, you’re safe"

Now you know why we never hear Cruz supporters saying much more than what they think Trump WONT DO. And we never hear what Cruz will do if he runs into congressional opposition

“I’m fine with Trump making deals with those dolts.”

That’s the difference between you and me. There’s nothing in a deal with them that benefits us. I don’t want em dealt with. I want em destroyed.

This is why Trump is effective and not a politician.

Quit deflecting. This isn’t about Cruz. This is about Drumpf saying, “We will work out some system that’s fair.” Sounds like he’s already equivocating and he hasn’t even won the nomination yet.

If he doesn’t build a literal 40 ft wall across the entire border people are going to be saying he reneged on his campaign promise. For pete’s sake, people (not you), it’s a metaphor. It will be part wall, part people, but MOST of all, it will be intention

So you are saying that obviously Trump is NOT going to build a complete wall ?!?

I have read post after post here on this site stating the first, main sometimes only reason they are supporting Trump is - THAT HE WILL BUILD THE WALL !!

Tell us how Ted Cruz (the most principled man on Earth) is going to get his agenda through a congress that wont even pass his agenda now when he is a senator.

What would he need to get through Congress? All he has to do is what Obama won't - enforce the law.

How about the part about Mexico paying for it? Negotiable or non-negotiable?

I should hope so, he is a President not a dictator

Either way their is no need for additional Laws or Negotiations regarding a wall. Funding was approved for the wall.

Donnie doesn't need to do anything other than plan it out and hire people to build it.

Let's see what kind of negotiations he thinks he needs to come up with to ENFORCE current law...

All the Trumpers will pass this off as nothing. Now imagine if Cruz had said it.

You'd be posting in red letters three inches high, with a gross of exclamation marks and expletives. :)

Me, I'm going to entertain myself by leisurely pulling some of the remaining bricks down from the self-nuked & destroyed NY Times building. :)

“Actually, you should be thanking Trump for DESTROYING the ENTIRE news media’s phony posturing on “confidential” sources.”

While you are worried about the way he’s handling the media. I’m worried about every one of his positions being negotiable if he happens to win the presidency.

RE: So we know Trump will build a wall, we know he is sending them back and we know he will allow the good ones to come back into the US. It has to be mentioned that this is called “touchback” and has been the democrats proposal and is even in the Gang of Eight bill. Ok, so once the good ones come back in, WHAT THEN? Trump hasn’t told us what his proposals will be for the “good ones.”

My understanding is that ANYBODY ( those who are not hardened criminals) can apply to be a permanent resident of the United States as long as they apply here LEGALLY, not jump the queue.

So, these folks who go home and want to come back are welcome, PROVIDED THEY QUEUE like everybody else.

Alternatively, we can revive the BRACERO PROGRAM during the Trump to Eisenhower years where seasonal workers can come and do manual labor TEMPORARILY and go home once their work is done. That program worked quite well until it was sabotaged by the labor unions.

In case you have been asleep the betrayal of conservatives has been going on for the last 30 years. The entire GOP has been engaged in it. Tea Party “conservatives” like Rubio, Ayotte, Ernst and even Cruz have all done things that furthered the betrayal of conservatives. You are speculating about Trump, every professional politician running has actually been involved in the ongoing betrayal of conservatives.
