I have no doubt they would rather lose than have Trump in the WH. The stakes are enormous. It is about control of the GOP.

No. You don't understand. It is about jobs - jobs for K-street lobbyists in D.C., and somehow they don't think Trump will be good for the D.C. job market.

The big announcement is going to be that he is going to drop out of the race, he is had a lot of fun and proved to himself that he could win the presidency but now he has decided to drop out and give his support to Hillary Clinton.

Do I need a sarcasm tag?

You and your holier-than-thou whinging are making it REALLY hard to keep on board with that.

I don’t see myself as “holier than thou”. However, I do see myself as one who understands history and human nature better than most Trump supporters. We all have our strengths. And weaknesses.

I loved Begala’s comment: “This is the Republican establishment, how clueless are they? Trump wants to burn down the Republican establishement and spit in the ashes!”

CNN comment... hilarious... the Republican establishment LIVES in Northern VA. This is a big win and good news for DJT.

Wonder if it’s crazy to think Trump has a shot at winning Texas?

In Texas, if the winner gets >50% does he get ALL the delegates?

Texas
Ted Cruz 41.3%
Donald Trump 28.8%
Marco Rubio 18.4%
John Kasich 4.2%
Ben Carson 3.7%
All Others 3.7%

I started out with Carson. The most vicious attack postings came 95% from Team Cruz. They ran a wholly negative attack campaign here from the start. Anyone not their guy who was ahead of them got slimed, relentlessly, daily.

Cannot throw those sorts of punches and not expect people to punch back.

It’s about all of it. As the Rush caller said today, this is our last chance for we, the people, to take back control of the government from the elites.

Pure and simple. Yes, jobs and reputations and cocktail parties are at stake. But these are the aristocrats and we are the peasants. You can give it to us by election, or by revolution. But it will come to us, one way or another.
