I line in a 20-30 minute self congratulatory tirade is not going to be a fig leaf Team Cruz can hide behind.
Really bad tatics by Cruz tonight. Preaching to the choir is no road to the White House.
Exactly. Cruz has been preaching to the choir all along and that’s why he won’t and can’t win.
Trump is Cruz’s problem. Cruz is attacking Trump’s lack of resolve in certain areas - in some areas I think he’s right. But it looks like he’s playing fast and loose with the truth in some other areas.
I started out with Cruz my favorite, until I believed that Trump was ‘for real’.
I stuck with Cruz as my favorite for months, before I began drifting away because of what seemed like typical ‘professional politician’ maneuvers.
Listening to his speech tonight, I just can’t trust Cruz anymore. He’s telling what amount to lies about Trump and his positions.
What to do, what to do.....

I agree. Cruz is simply preaching to the choir and not winning new converts, which is what he needs to do if he is going to win states other than TX and OK. He's coming across as nasty and vengeful.

Really sad to see Cruz do this, had so much respect for him, I think after he started hanging out with Beck things went downhill. Contrast Trump’s speech tonight with Cruz’s. Yes, Trump has said some very nasty thing about Cruz and vice versa, but just for tonight, can the crap and be civil towards each other. Trump did it, he also laid out his vision for the country, where is Cruz’s vision for America, instead he attacks Trump and thats it
If there was a way to watch a debate on MUTE I would, but that probably wouldn’t work.

My point is that Cruz and Rubio do much better than Trump.
I also say this in response to someone saying to me that voting for Cruz is voting for Hillary.
That is just not true at this point.
