If the field stays splintered into the winner-take-all states then Trump wins it going away.

Bingo to the Real Reason the MSM, FOX, GOPe, McConnell, Ryan, Sasse, Beltway et al are having a Fit. The path is there if everyone stays in the race. It's blatantly obvious. As of tonight, they're all staying in, as far as I understood from their takeaway comments.

So, now what GOPe, MSM, et al? Trump should announce Palin as his VP tomorrow and we might literally wipe them out en masse.

Honestly, I was worried Trump could win TX.

That would mean Cruz could have trouble holding his Senate seat.

Cruz has more heart than I could have ever imagined.

Cruz was making the case that all the anti-Trumps should unite behind him. He fired off a littany of anti-Trump talking points. Most were lies. And he was angry and sneering while doing it. It was astonishingly bad.

He is not able to become the outsider and draw support or sympathy from pro-Trumps. In true conservative fashion, he has to be "against" something which showcases his "conservative principles". The old stand and fight deal that has got us to where we are now. I truly see how bad three decades of that strategy has been. Time to be for something again, not for being against things on principle.

Cruz is an amazing mind reader tonight. Pathetic, pathetic performance. This man will never, ever endorse Trump. I’m sure in his deluded mind he’s thinking about running against Trump again.

“Cruz just now trolling hard for GOPe votes on CNN. “

And DeLay on FBN, the lesser of evils. Fortunately FBN “lost” the DeLay feed.

Nice! Good luck to Cruz trying to unite the anti-Trumps.

The interesting thing is Cruz is unable to attract any new voters to himself, so now he is redefining himself as the anti-Trump.

Man up, Nancy boy. You Cruz people are the ones that have gone over the top with your ridiculous rhetoric. I’m just responding to Ted Cruz’ slanderous lies and disgusting tactics. The guy is pure slime. Period. End of story.

He hates conservatives.

Do you hear yourself? Seriously, you sound like Cruz making stupid statements that are outright lies. Just stop it.

Did you expect Trump to kick Cruz’s ass throughout the South?

Maybe you should take the time to inform yourself of what Jim Robinson has actually said about his support for Cruz AND Trump. Or you can just continue to feel sorry for yourself.

Every other post on FR is slamming Cruz. This is the kind of crap that has turned us off. It’s 9 or 10 to 1 sliming of Cruz vs. any kind of sliming of Trump on FR. Truly disgusting. Someone said it above, FR has been inflitrated by many Trump trolls. I’m very sad for Jim Robinson.

I agree. Sadly, I have had to take a hiatus to a welcoming site, particularly this evening. I too feel badly for Jim.

Tom Delay seems to feel ‘the people’ don't matter. He came across as a horrible person... No wonder the country is broke and all our congressmen became millionaires after taking office.

I would think Oregon and WA would be too moderate for Cruz.

I don't know why Minnesota was ignored. I don't understand the numbers with the system- it appears this caucus in MN was sort of for party insiders.

Regardless its interesting that MN has only 10 more delegates at stake than Alaska. Maybe someone can shed some light on what is going on.

I think a brokered convention is nearly inevitable.

I do think that it is reasonable always for conservatives to hold out for a conservative nominee— no matter what the establishment picks out for us.

Trump is a blue blood New York Values plutocrat. He is not conservative. He hates conservatives.

That can become clear to a point where a brokered convention leads back to Cruz.

Maybe Trump would accept VP from Cruz. That would be acceptable to me and perhaps his followers.

I have watched all 10 debates and I honestly do not think Trump will help conservatives in the future. There is no reliable history to suggest he would. Its all the art of the deal that promises without deliveries.
