“Do you also get that while driving our economy into the ground, most of these federal acts are by definition acts of tyranny because they are unconstitutional acts? Again, government isn’t the solution, government is the problem.”

Well, then, help make sure TPP goes into law, it forever outlaws your hated protectionism, we will lose our country and that should make you happy.

Confusing

1) the voluntary cooperation in the market economy for individual self interest and gain free of government meddling with

2) the coercion and force of government interference in the market economy forcing higher business costs for government self interest and bureaucratic gain,

is confusion indeed.

It is important. It matters. More than most here know.

Oh please, none of us have any clue what God wants for us and this country so get off your high horse and sitting in judgment of others here.

God has taken lesser people than Donald Trump and used them for good in the past. All I know is Trump has the right message for our country NOW and the evil corrupt leftists in both the Democrat Party and Republican party (and the whole evil leftist culture they helped to create) fears that message and are doing everything they can to try to destroy him. It would be up to us to fight and hold Donald Trump to that message if he were elected.

In the end, prayers for this country can do great things so being in judgment of others and being so defeatist as you are displaying, helps no one.

“2) the coercion and force of government interference in the market economy forcing higher business costs for government self interest and bureaucratic gain”

A ridiculous false choice, not called for by anyone outside the democrat party.

I have an idea. Why not just go back to the economic policies that made the United States the premier economic engine of the world.

Hint: It was not by using the current free trade agreements.

“free of government meddling”

Every nation on earth meddles in their economies. They always have, always will.

That was the stated rationale for the trade agreements. It didn’t work out.

So now, that is the stated reason for TPP. It is designed to entirely remove government control over the various economies and turn the control over to an unelected international cartel.

Does that comfort you?

Hey Genius Iowa has voted GOP 1 time since 1988. You think OK and TX are going to flip because CRUbio is out ? That is funny.

Thanks for the compliment of my intelligence....I never presumed as much.

But IMHO, it shows a "lack" of intelligence to suggest that Cruz's winning, Texas (by a large majority over Trump AND Rubio) and his wins in Iowa, Oklahoma and Alaska.... "means nothing".

That's why I found it so interesting to listen to Trump supporters and the media, last night, "proclaiming" that Trump will be the primary winner when there are still around 1,000 delegates that haven't been assigned by Republican voters. The Rubio and Cruz "wins" prove there IS opposition to Trump, which makes a "slam dunk" win for him more "wishful thinking" than "proven fact" at this point.

It also doesn't take a "genius" to recognize that winning a primary doesn't "guarantee" a key to the White House for Trump. The Republican electorate's "aversion" to pulling the lever for McCain or Romney in the past.....even while knowing it would give Obama the Presidency....gives testimony to that fact.

You’re confused and your rationale that other countries are basically socialist does’t fly. America is an EXCEPTIONAL nation built on the foundations of freedom - other countries have always followed our lead, not the other way around.

Yours is a Leftist, socialist argument. Our sovereignty is not threatened by the voluntary cooperation of free enterprise. If other countries want to screw themselves up, it certainly don’t mean we have to also. Your protectionist arguments do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to address the underlying core issues of our economy of which I have named some.

You protectionist folks never really get around to root cause analysis because you demonstrate a basic lack of understanding how the free market economy actually works. You may call yourself a “conservative”, I don’t know, but you demonstrate a lack of belief in and understanding of freedom.

I’m not judging others and I am not being defeatist any more than Jesus and His apostles were. Sometimes it is important to know the mind of God enough to know when His answer to a prayer is “no”. And why Nineveh was ultimately destroyed. Warning of it is not being a defeatist.

Of course, but you’re just changing the subject. You said-
“..but I’d like to see Trump win the White House WITHOUT Texas, Iowa and Oklahoma voters. LOL “

Absurd statement as I pointed out. Iowa has gone GOP one time (for W) since 1988 and TX and OK will go with whoever the nominee is. And it won’t be Cruz. Every “path” for Cruz is prefaced by a generous application of “Ifs”. Even IF Cruz picks a couple more his position changes not one bit. Trump can lose FL to Rubio and still win.

You are projecting. I have judged nobody.

Well, now you are in judgment of me, saying I'm projecting when all I am doing is pointing out we have no clue what God wants for this country but yet, you are all over this thread pretending like you know but not I or you have any clue. All I can do is point out what the evil left in this country is doing to try to destroy the right message for this country.

And FWIW, your describing Trump supporters, which I am not quite there yet, to 0bamabots is way off. 0bama and his supporters supports big government, pro Political Correctness, anti-Constitution, pro Government freebies, illegal immigration while Trump and his supporters support quite the opposite.

There is a right message and a wrong message for this country and I'll do my best to support the right message for this country (smaller gov't, pro-Constitution, pro-Freedom, pro-Liberty, etc). We have to do our best to go with those who are willing to fight against the evil leftist culture, and fight to hold those candidates to that message. It's quite possible that Trump is the right man at the right time. The whole evil cabal in Washington DC is going to take someone strong to take on that corruption. Unlike you, I'm not going to dismiss anything, as we have no clue what God's will is. We can only turn to him and hope and pray for these leaders that they get it right.

And if only a few good people were found, would have spoke out, prayed , Sodom and Gomorrah would not have been destroyed.

God gave those people in those cities many chances. It's very possible we are being given some last chances but we have to be those good people that fight, speak out and most of all, turn to him and pray that we get this country back on the right track.

He just said at the presser that if they do abortions, they have to be defunded.

But... Planned Parenthood DOES do abortions! Why doesn't he just say he will defund PP and be done with it? Trump definitely knows what "money is fungible" means.

I wish he would stop saying they do great things. A few birth-control devices and manual breast exams do not constitute a Nobel Prize. They are just camouflage for the abortions, which accounts for 30% of their funding. Not to mention the sale of the baby parts, which is diabolical.

Exactly!! That's exactly what I've been saying every time Trump praises PP... It makes me cringe. He's got to stop that. I think I remember other GOP candidates (Fiorina?) stating there are many other women's health groups that offer excellent, free health services to women, but they DO NOT do abortions. Trump should promote and champion those groups.

The smart Jews were the ones that left 1930s Germany when they could.

I moved to my home in central KY in 2011. In the vein of Revelation 18:4.

Israel and the pro-life movement are both majorly important to me. Since Trump does seem fungible, not always a bad thing as the media would try to frame it, I’m hoping he will evolve on these two issues.

As it stands now, he is acceptable, however.

“You’re confused and your rationale that other countries are basically socialist does’t fly. America is an EXCEPTIONAL nation built on the foundations of freedom - other countries have always followed our lead, not the other way around.’’

Confused? I think you can let that go. Have you, by the way, ever noticed where things you buy are made?

“Yours is a Leftist, socialist argument.”

Leftist? I’m calling for the United States return to the
to the type of trade strategy that propelled this country to the greatest economic engine in world history. Was that Leftist?

“Our sovereignty is not threatened by the voluntary cooperation of free enterprise.”

“free enterprise”?

You just pulled that out of your ass. I in no way implied anything about the United States being threatened by free enterprise.

“Your protectionist arguments do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to address the underlying core issues of our economy of which I have named some.”

I never stated protectionism would solve all problems. First, we have to get some factories and production reestablished. We really don’t have much left to protect.

Every time I buy something that is made overseas, and read the stats of how many Americans are out of a job, and how many thousands of manufacturing plants have been moved outside our borders, and how we are importing millions of low skilled third worlders as a means for economic revitalization, then, yes, I think we are on the wrong track. In fact, I think these anti-protectionists are trying to destroy the country. They are doing a good job.

Also, you can shove your crap of how I don’t understand economics. I have studied it in college and afterward.

The usual college economic grist - Keynesian economics and socialism - is not true economics, but an aberration that has been refuted in both theory and historic fact. Rarely does one get to learn true free market economics in college. A lot of what we learn in college has to be unlearned and then the truth relearned later.

If somehow you learned true free market economics in college you are one of the lucky few. But then, if you had learned and understood it, you wouldn’t be so vociferously against it now.

“The usual college economic grist - Keynesian economics and socialism - is not true economics.”

You have no clue whatsoever what the hell you are talking about. Even if that were true, how would you know? You are the one in bed with, very tellingly, Barack Obama and the globalists. Do you and Obama know something the rest of us don’t know?

“you wouldn’t be so vociferously against it now.”

What I am against is the de-industralization of the United States.

We’ve gone around full circle.

Think I’ll sign off.

Wish the entire country used paper ballots and all digital voting was thrown out.

In Maine we have card ballots which are marked with magnetic ink pens. They can be counted either by machines or by hand.
