We lived in a large townhouse settlement in Fairfax Cty from the mid 1960 to early 70's.
At that time, there was a handful of republicans even with a lot of military. The military being democrat was a surprise after being in the Norfolk area for a few years.
Trump with 30,000 vote lead now in VA. 70% in (35.7% to 31.3)
I was living in Annandale, VA on/around 9/11. Original homeowners were still there but fading away. Pretty much all gone now I guess. Bad crop of beltway parasites there now, IMO.
Arlington for me, mid 1950s to mid ‘60s. Fairfax was the boondocks....
