Very true. once in a while i send some back with RED Market answers to their begging! It Ain’t always nice.
How about getting off the Political Correctness boat. I’ll use the word HATE and HATERS anytime I wish. Nobody is going to take power over MY choice of what I say. Trump is bringing Freedom of Speech back to the American people Being “Thin skinned” isn’t and never has been, the American Way.
I DID point out the similarities in the national situations between the USA and Germany in 1933, right down to the temperament of a large part of the populace. If his supporters remain so intent on 'sticking it to the GOPe that they aren't watching where they are going, yes, things could go badly.
Hitler wasn't just one evil guy, what made Hitler possible was a mesmerized population who in their anger at the world, in their frustration with a bad economy, anger at the politicians in power, and their humiliation at the terms of the Armistice were ripe for being directed and focused by a relatively small group of determined people, slick speeches, and the lust to be "winners" again, and who believed "Gott mit uns!", which was common on their regalia.
Conservatives are (rightfully) angry, at the GOP who has betrayed them, at the economy, at the Government, at specific groups of people who are hurting our country or invading it, at our general loss of prestige in the world, at mismanagement at the highest levels. Our economy generally sucks, especially now that oil jobs are down some 70%, and even more manufacturing is shuttered or leaving, leaving Government as the main growth sector. The ripples of that drop are still going through the economy.
We're pissed that the ROE for our troops stink on ice, and that despite the tremendous effort and sacrifice they have heroically made, little progress is apparent. We're tired of being lied to, taxed into oblivion, and being treated like crap--especially after years of GOP kicking Conservatives under the bus. The Government has been involved in criminal activity and one Party smugly runs one of the perpetrators for President. Damned right, we're angry.
But that anger should bring some modicum of caution as well. There is a reason vengeance is best served cold--because angry people screw up.
Good people elect bad people because they are angry at other bad people.
Anyone who doesn't have a strong moral compass and serious dedication to a set of principles (like the Constitution) has the potential to be another Hitler, and I pointed out that this country is fertile ground for such to arise.
In their anger, people who support Trump are willingly ignoring his actions and stances of the relatively recent past in their desperation for a saviour. That the support has taken on a pseudoreligious fervor should be sounding klaxons of alarm in the heads of those who are rational, but for the most part, that does not seem to be the case.
Remember, Hitler wasn't a monster until later. There were numerous prominent Americans who thought he was great for Germany, at least until he invaded Poland (and later when some of the horrors of that regime came out).
When asked for specifics we are told people "believe", and they "hope", but there are no solid plans to accomplish the things they 'believe' and 'hope' in, and when people point out that the nuts and bolts don't have the same threads, they are shouted down and bombarded with nonsense.
Slogans are cheap.
Now, nowhere in there do I say I hate anyone, and I am as angry at the GOP as anyone, especially considering the crap pulled with our caucuses this year in ND.
I support Cruz because I have been following his actions for a couple of years. I don't agree with everything he has done over those years, but I agree with far more of it than not. Don't bother to pick out the latest alleged "lies" and throw them at me, I'm referring to SCOTUS cases and Senate actions. He's been bucking the GOPe all along and consistent in his support for the Constitution. I can't say the same for Trump's positions over the same time period, except to say that Trump has consistently supported Trump.
Lovely. You left the ‘r’ out of your screen name.
Re: post 83 - good post.
Trump is just a battering ram, its the Americans that are holding him up. Eventually, you will be with us, or against us. I no longer care which side they chose.

Bang on post, thank you and I will be using that.
Stuff it.
Then the Republican Party needs to die and we will create a new party. It’s been done before.
Very well said. I agree!
“I’d rather have a good plan today, than a perfect plan three weeks from now.” General George Patton
You forgot the slimey, sleazy, scum-ball Rubio.
Thank you for that nice, rational and well worded response. It is about what I have come to expect from Trump supporters. Bless your little heart.
sarcasm alert:
Yeah cause Cruz is clearly unpopular in Texas so he will never want to be embarrassed by seeking re-election .
Yeah, the crap Cruz pulled was disgusting. Every time I see him, Hillary, or Sanders, I want to take another shower.
Don’t kid yourself, we have the same crowd here making up crap about Trump. And to think I was a strong Cruz supporter for VP... Not anymore. He’s creepy, and a liar.
<><> Hillary Clinton is not the enemy, Donald Trump is.
<><> Cruz attacked Trump and preached that he must be stopped at all costs.
With every bitter and spiteful sentence that came out of his mouth, Cruz showed he is the establishment. He is not what we need in the Oval Office.
==========================================
Donald swept the race...but to hear Cruz speak, HE is the winner.....we should be concerned this man is mentally deluded. His motives for running seem to differ sharply by what he feeds people on his campaign stops.
Maybe it/s the Canadian/latino lack of self-esteem. He seems driven to win despite the facts.
NOTE TO CRUZ: The Oval Office is not the place to find your human potential.
Can't wait for the Zot hammer to come down the TDS sufferers.
Angry people can do stupid things. People in America are angry today for pretty much the same reasons people in Germany were angry then, and they are just as damned angry.
To top it off they are voting against the Communists, too.
But go ahead, kill the messenger. Like I said, angry people do stupid things.
Did they sign a pledge to be loyal to Trump if he wins the nomination?
“No, its a fight against useful idiot Democrats who are coming over and voting for Trump in open primaries.”
So, you are against the Regan coalition? To win the general we need a broad base of support. You need to get real.
I am not a Trump supporter. But if the party plays a game to cut him out of the nomination, the part will ending.
If the GOPe has to have their own candidate lose all the time, then they will go away.
